Two sets of primers were designed for KLF4: native – for DNA from native or fresh frozen tissue; FFPE – for DNA from formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue.

The primer pairs for TRAF7 are suitable for DNA from native or fresh frozen tissue. Due to several short introns in TRAF7, some primer pairs were able to amplify fragments spanning 2 or 3 exons.

* Sequencing analysis of TRAF7 exon 9 required a nested PCR approach with initial amplification using TRAF7ex8 forward and ex10/11 backward primers for a product of 1604 base pairs.
