Secondary/P-12 Program Graduate Assistant

Terms/Conditions:
Tuition waiver of no more than 12 credit hours per term and 30 credit hours in a twelve month period; $2500 stipend per semester for 20 hours of supervised work per week; Fall and Spring semester.

Duties:
· assist the Secondary/P-12 Coordinator with the collection of NCATE data for the Secondary/P-12 programs and the Social Science Program
· assist the Secondary/P-12 Coordinator on Special Projects
. assist with grading
. assist instructor with course preparation
· assist in the development of recruiting initiatives that promote the Secondary/P-12 programs among FSU faculty and students and among high school and community college students state-wide
· assist in the Secondary/P-12 Coordinator in outreach to local P-12 schools and the coordination of all Secondary/P-12 intern supervision
· other duties as assigned by the Secondary/P-12 Coordinator
Qualifications:
It is important that the individual exhibits good written and verbal skills, is organized and punctual, is comfortable working independently and with a diverse clientele, has good interpersonal skills, has experience with both Mac and PC platforms, and has well developed skills using Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Word. Experience using Illustrator and Photoshop would be a plus, along with webpage development and maintenance.

This position is classified as a Research/Teaching position and is exempt from tax.
