Summary

/ Fragility fractures are a burden for patients, healthcare systems and national economies. The International Osteoporosis Foundation has developed Capture the Fracture®, a global campaign to facilitate the implementation of coordinated, multi-disciplinary models of care for secondary fracture prevention. IOF believes this is the single most important thing that can be done to directly improve patient care and reduce spiralling fracture related healthcare costs worldwide.
Around the world CNS members are instrumental in promoting secondary fracture prevention.
This new contest aims to highlight member activities and campaigns dedicated to raising awareness with healthcare professionals and policy makers in their country about the importance of preventing secondary fracture.
