Terms:
Work must be in situ throughout June and July 2016
Work to be suitable for a high-traffic, public open space, and between 1m and 3 m in size.
Pieces will be checked by LEL for health and safety – including the materials, finish and stability.
Artists are responsible for transporting, installing and de-installing their work, under supervision and with assistance from the Knebworth gardens team on an appointed date.
Artists are responsible for insurance of their work whilst in the Garden, and in transit.
The artist is responsible for selling their work and will receive the full selling price. There is no commission payable to Lytton Enterprises Limited.
Promotion:
There will be a handout for visitors to pick up during the exhibition, with a list of works and short biography. If selected, you will be asked to submit a photograph and text. Each artist will be offered 4 tickets to the Preview reception in May. There will be marketing support throughout the event.
During the event:
Each artist will have an opportunity to run a workshop or demonstration, if required. The artist may charge a nominal fee to visitors to cover the costs of materials used.On the day of their workshop or demonstration, and subject to space restrictions, artists may exhibit additional works on an agreed date if required.
