Assignment
Question: (20 Marks)
A simple ER diagram of an organization is given above. You are required to analyze the diagram very carefully and perform the following tasks.
a)
· Identify all possible relations along with relevant attributes from the given diagram.
· Normalize the relations into 3rd normal form.
b)
· Create a database in SQL Server (Any version). The name of database must be your VU ID i.e. BC123456789 (In case of any other database name, zero marks will be awarded).
· Add all the tables identified in part a in the database (BC123456789).
· Add 5 dummy records in all tables keeping in mind the constraints of primary keys.
Now you are required to take the screenshots of your database and tables as given on next page and paste them in your solution file.
NOTE: You are required to submit the MS Word file containing the solution of both parts. Do not put any query on MDB about this assignment, if you have any query then email at . Furthermore, if any student found cheating from any other student or from online forums then he/she will be awarded ZERO right away and strict disciplinary action will be taken against the student.
Deadline: Your assignment must be uploaded/submitted on or before 23rd January 2017.
