THE DARK REDEMPTION
There is a state of emergency in the Galaxy. Imperial Forces, have begun to seize control of all Old Republic installations.
The Mining Colony of Kessel has fallen to Imperial Garrisons from the secret Maw Weapons Research Centre. The installation is responsible for the Empire’s deadliest weapons. Mara Jade, a suspected rebel spy, has been caught infiltrating the area.
In an attempt to maintain his hold on contraband shipments of Spice, Jabba the Hutt has dispatched the notorious bounty hunter Boba Fett to the Mines to strengthen underworld networks right under the close scrutiny of the Empire…
4.ext. Space
From the starfield tilt down to the Maw Cluster blackhole. A fleet of Imperial Star Destroyers fly over the Planet of Kessel. Garbage is released from a Star Destroyer. Slave 1 detaches itself from underside of the hull, fires its engines, and flies past.

An automated communications room filled with PC's and monitors. CAPTAIN DROVAS is seated behind central control. CAPTAIN RALTER watches over him.

BOBA FETT operates controls. Static from an open comms channel is heard.

Stormtroopers stand guard over Slave Workers who are mining the spice.

STORMTROOPERS herd SLAVE WORKERS along Rock Dunes. A slave stumbles.

Slave 1 flys past followed by a Tie fighter Interceptor. They head towards to the city of Kessel, Kessandra.

Admiral Melaan nods to General Towa. The General and stormtroopers lead Mara Jade away.

My preliminary interrogation revealed that Mara Jade is strong in the force. We should eradicate her immediately.
ADMIRAL MELAAN
I am well aware of her potential, officer. The Emperor himself has shown interest in this one.
GARROCK
As you wish Admiral.

Mara Jade is having a dream. Flash frame of meeting with Emporer.

Mara Jade awakens. Zelig enters and approaches Jade. She knocks him to the ground and dives on top off him.

Zelig reveals a chip. Jade takes chip.

Stormtroopers and aliens socialize in lively Cantina. Lt. Pol Treidum is drunk at the bar. Bitha Tah’ is seated next to a Stormtrooper. Bartender brings Treidum another drink.

Bitha Tah’ ignores Treidum’s advances but eyes Boba Fett and Garrock entering Cantina. Bitha Tah’ slaps Tredium on face and exits.

Mara Jade places holochip on bed. KYLE KATARN appears.

Mara Jade. Please take extra precautions. The information you hold on the Death Star project must reach Princess Leia and the rebel alliance at all cost. Do not Fail the Rebellion Mara. Do not fail me.
The message finishes. Mara Jade rubs necklace.
Flash frame of meeting with Emporer.

The cantina is a buzz of activity. Garrock and Boba Fett are at a table in corner.
GARROCK
Jabba should be aware that security has increased since
the Empire took over. Tarkin appointed this Admiral to run the mines. The man is a real pain in my side.
BOBA FETT
I'm not interested in your personal problems.
GARROCK
Jabba wants safe passage for his Spice shipments. I can deliver the security he needs...
Garrock opens monitor pad.

Stormtroopers gather round Millienium Falcon.

GARROCK
Jabba should think more wisely with whom he does business. The Millennium Falcon is about to lose it’s cargo.
BOBA FETT
That shipment has got to get to Jabba.
Garrock talks into monitor.
GARROCK

Imperial Shuttle Tyderrium docks next to Slave 1 and Millennium Falcon. Stormtroopers Zev and Klaus exit Tyderrium with an Aqualish prisoner.

Admiral turns to Garrock.

LIEUTENANT ARRAS is at a reception counter. Two stormtroopers and LT TRION linger in background. Zev & Klaus disguised as Stormtroopers enter with the Aqualish prisoner Hay’shyyk Baba.

Stormtroopers fire at Heroes. Battle finishes and heroes run down corridor.

Garrock holds gun on Mara Jade.

Stormtrooper takes off his helmet. It is Zev.

Garrock reaches for his gun. Klaus enters holding gun.

Stormtroopers fire. The rebels run firing at stormtroopers. Ahead there is a door on the left.

Jade stops running.

Mara heads off through a side door. Zev signals to others then follows. Hah’shyyk Baba helps Klaus to his feet.

Stormtroopers fire at Boba Fett. Fett kicks Lt. Tighe shoots two stormtroopers and jet packs through the air.

Send reinforcements. Boba Fett shot the Admiral.
Fett lands taking out another group of stormtroopers.

General Towa and Stormtroopers run.

Fett releases a hand rope which wraps around Garrock’s legs. Fett fires up Jet Pack dragging Garrock along ground.

Fett drags Garrock along the ground. Stormtrooper’s fire at Fett and rope continually missing.
GARROCK
Stop him!
General Towa arrives and grabs a stormtrooper’s gun. He fires at rope. Garrock is released.

Boba Fett flies down corridor doing jetpack fireball past stormtroopers.
65.INT. COMMUNICATIons CONTROL - KESSANDRA
Boba Fett does flyby past Zev and Klaus into room. Fett elbows Hah’shyyk over the edge. Fett holds gun on Zev and Klaus.
BOBA FETT
Easy.
Zev and Klaus face Fett in a mexican standoff. Hah’shyyk Baba’s hand grabs onto floor railing.
KLAUS VANDERON
Boba Fett. I’ve waited for this moment Bounty Hunter....
Fett fires shot in Klaus’ direction stopping Raltar from a surprise attack. Boba Fett lifts up Hah’shyyk Baba from over edge.
BOBA FETT
(to Klaus)
Grow up laserbrain.

Millenium Falcon takes off.

The Docking Bay doors close. The Millennium Falcon makes it through at the last minute.
