Science Project Due Dates
Students will do ALL work at home. Remember to take pictures!
Topic Due Sept. 24– the student is to design a title page. This can be done on a computer or drawn by hand.
The information the title page needs to include is:
1.) Name of Experiment
2.) Student’s Name
Every Step below will be accompanied by a worksheet that I will
provide. The worksheet will have more instructions.
Research Due Sept. 24– the student will need to use three
Different resources: one book, one website, and a professional.
The professional can be anyone with a degree that would relate to your child’s
topic. Be creative.
Hypothesis and Problem are due on Oct. 1st– the problem is the question you are asking yourself about the experiment. The hypothesis is your best answer to that question. There will be more instructions to come.
Materials List, Procedures, and perform your experiment are due on Oct. 20th-
This will give you plenty of time to get your experiment
together. The experiment should be repeated 4 times. Both materials list and
procedures should be very detailed. There will be more instructions to come.
Record and Analyze Data due Oct. 27– this is where I want to

Conclusion due Nov.3- A paper typed out of all the information.

Dear Parents,
Thank you for your support with your child’s science fair project. They all look great! I can’t wait to read what your child as brought in.
The science fair will not be held until late January or February. If your child wants to enter his/her project, I would encourage you to keep working on the little details that make a project great and presentable to the judges.
Here is the rubric I am grading your student’s work by. Your child has gone through their work and has marked what they DO HAVE. Please make sure your child works on what they do not have. I will not accept anything after Nov. 11th.
