General information

Dates / Workshops are available across the UK all year round. Please provide your preferred date/time on the enquirers’ form and we will contact you to confirm whether or not your first choice is available.Note: Workshops are not available in September 2016
Duration / A standard half day is up to 2.5 hours and a full day is up to 5 hours. Please note that a full day of workshop activity must include a minimum of 30 minutes break for lunch.
Nursery - Primary schools: half day workshop = up to 2 groups, full day workshop = up to 4 groups
Secondary schools – Vocational: half day workshop = 1 group, full day workshop = upto 4 groups
Venue / The workshop space must be of reasonable size (minimum 30ft x 30ft), be warm and have a suitable floor for dance (i.e. sprung or wooden floor, not carpet or concrete).

Cost / Standard workshop prices start from £350 for a half day and £550 for a full day (excluding VAT).
Theatre
Tickets / All workshop bookers receive *11 FREE TICKETS (10 students and 1 teacher) for an English National Ballet performance. This will be arranged with you at the time of booking. Subsequent tickets are discounted at the rates below. Please note, this special ticket deal is guaranteed for the following performances on page 3&4 only.
Participants / Workshops are available from Nursery to Vocational level and for Special Educational Needs schools. No previous dance experience is necessary.
English National Ballet must be informed of any learning or medical requirements in advance.
Clothing / Participants are advised to wear loose, comfortable clothing with bare feet or ballet shoes (no pointe shoes). No socks, trainers or jewellery and long hair must be tied up.
Group size / 10 - 30 per workshop.
Equipment / We aim to have a musician at every workshop therefore a tuned piano is ideal. Alternatively a keyboard, CD player or MP3 connection must be provided.
Safety / Your organisation is responsible for health and safety and first aid. A member of staff must be present throughout the workshop. Dance artists have the right to terminate the workshop should a staff member not be present.
