Matters arising: Nil

1)Hawkes Bay multicomplex

-2017 – 2 courts to be up and running

- Location unsure

-Hopefully 2018 may be able to host NZSSSC

2)Payments: Invoices working well, better payments.

3) Refs Levy: Previous $30 levy with lucky draw did not bring in outside refs as hoped

-$30 levy to remain

- 2016 to remain the same

4)Line Judge duties: no presentation as yet

- suggest Head Ref guide includes instruction on how to do duty,

-guide to go to coaches and managers.

5)2016 NZSSSC dates : 8/9/10 April

-Regional Qualifiers to be held no later 19/20 March if absolutely necessary may be held 1 week earlier, but no later.

6)2016 Venue: with Makino being closed for refurbishment discussion was held on alternative venues suggestions:

A – Lido - Palmerston North

B – Naenae

C- Makino over 4 days outside pool will be available

D – split the venues Makino and Freberg

All agreed Lido firstchoice indications are it will be available, if not option B then C

7)Language: Inappropriate managers and coaches to bring this to the attention of their

players .

8)Forms: Entry forms to be returned to Penny asap this confirms your attendance

Team detail can be sent to Penny the following week please make sure the principal has signed and your affiliation portion is also signed by the appropriate person

9)Shot Clock for Division I

: difficulty for officials including shot clock officials

: look to 2017 if the National League B grade shot clock is successful.

10)Gear Safety: Scrutineering should be done at Regionals, particularly PFD’s and paddles.

: Be mindful of the new regulations

: PFD’s must have side padding

: Paddles must be at least 5mm

: Bumpers must be at least 30mm

11)Division I: Number of teams, this is our premier grade and should have most teams them.

However, numbers have been dropping with Regions opting for the easier grade. Regions to encourage the top teams to enter div I.

12)Junior grades: suggested that Y9 and 10’s only not age related – not agreed

Y7 and 8 at should be allowed if at a college that starts at Y7 Motion to allow Y7 and 8s @ NZSSSC

13)Year 14: 3 players year 14 and are they allowed to play they do meet the age restriction of U19 as at 1/1/15

Penny to confirm points 11 and 12 with NZSSSC if allowed as their paperwork states Y9-13

14)Goals: Greg Oke thought 1 set goals at Makino are unsuitable use both of WCPA sets if needed
