School Uniform – Prep to Year Seven
St Joseph’s school has a school uniform and a sports uniform. The school uniform is worn three days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The sports uniform is worn on sport days; Tuesday and Thursday.

Summer School Uniform
SHIRT: checked cotton shirt with school crest
SHORTS: Navy blue mid or short length STUBBIES OR EQUIVALENT BRAND ONLY
SHOES: Black leather shoes or black runners/joggers (no markings).
Black or brown leather flat sandals without socks (Term 1 and 4 only, no surfing sandals)
SOCKS: Short navy socks
HAT: SCHOOL HAT WORN ALL YEAR / Summer School Uniform

HAT: As Above - school hat / Summer Sports Uniform

Boys’ and Girls’ Uniform Items for Winter
Plain navy blue track suit pants (No markings, badges, writing or stripes)
Plain navy blue zip up jumper with school emblem embroidered on front
Navy blue tights are an optional part of the girls’ winter uniform.

Common uniform infringements which are NOT part of the school uniform

  • Coloured runners/joggers/sandshoes (sports day other joggers may be worn)
  • Soccer/footy shorts or basketball shorts – STUBBIES brand are to be worn
  • The wearing of jewellery (except religious medals etc., watches, studs in ears) is not permitted. Children are reminded that only one set of earrings is allowed to be worn.
  • Boys’ and girls’ hair must be tidy and of natural colour. Boys’ and girls’ hair, if longer than shoulders must be worn tied/pinned back.
  • Fad hairstyles are not appropriate for primary school age children. If any doubt exists in regard to hairstyle, parents should check with the principal before having a style change.
