Increase to 90% the number of students scoring in the proficient range (level III and IV) in Math in the 2007-2008 school year as measured on the ARMT in grades 3-6.
Increase the proficiency level of students in grades 3-6 to the 50% percentile in math on the SAT 10 Assessment for the 2007-2008 school year.

1)Implement explicit, intensive instruction through the use of small groups/cooperative learning in every classroom for 30 minutes 5 times a week to focus on un-mastered content standards.
2)Use assessment data (ARMT/SAT) student reports, STAR, and Accelerated Math, Successmaker, and quarterly Benchmark results to establish flexible groups within the classroom.
3)Use manipulatives and/or foldables to reinforce skills previously taught.
4)Conduct weekly grade level meetings and monthly data meetings led by principal and/or lead teacher to review and respond to assessment data.
5)Utilize lessons learned in AMSTI training to supplement state-adopted text.

Positive Behavior Support Program / Professional Learning
Teachers will request workshops made available through STI and report information to faculty during faculty meetings.
Analysis of ARMT/SAT 10 results meeting.
Conduct an Instructional Audit and identify the strength and weaknesses of students according to SAT 10 results.
Provide inservice to teachers on disaggregated data and periodically review student performance according to teacher evaluations and assessments.
AMSTI program participation during summer 2007. Faculty will participate in additional inservice for ARFI and continue to provide systematically and explicit instruction in reading.
