Terms and Conditions
Waiver of Liability
Teachers must accompany their students at all times to ensure the safety of their charges and maintain discipline and order. The National Gallery Singapore shall not be responsible or liable in any way for any loss, injury, mishap (including personal injury) of any students and/or teachersincurred during the visit.
Confirmation of Booking
Bookings madewill be confirmed by Gallery staff within 10 working days.
Cancellation
School will bear the minimum admin fee of S$50.00 for any booking cancelled less than 21 days prior to the commencement of the programme. Should National Gallery Singapore initiates of booking due to unforeseen circumstances, we shall endeavourto inform the school at least 21 days prior to programme. However, we will not bear responsibility for travel expenses or any costs which the school might have incurred.
No show
In the case of a no-show by the school on the actual day, the minimum admin fee of S$100.00 for the programme will be chargeable to the school. No-show applies when school is late for more than 15 minutes without notification.
Costs to be borne by participating schools
Schools shall bear the costs of booking of school buses to ferry students to and from respective venues.
Teacher to Student Ratio
The ratio of the number of accompanying teachers/parent-volunteers/teacher-aides to students should be maintained as reflected in the table.

Parental Consent
Schools have to ensure that parental consent has been sought and parental approval (in writing) has been given for ALL students who are participating in this programme.
Rescheduling
Each school is allowed 1 rescheduling request, provided that the request for rescheduling of date and time is received more than 20 days prior to the date of visit, subject to availability.
Punctuality
Schools would have to ensure that punctuality is observed. Should schools arrive late for the session/s, the tour may be modified or omitted to ensure that the tour ends on the stated time on the confirmation form.
Photographic, audio or video recordings
Photographs and audio and video recordings may be taken during the Programme for the National Gallery’s use. By participating in this programme, schools are allowing consent for the use of images and/or audio or video recordings as deemed fit by the Gallery.
Attire
Students should wear their school uniform. PE attire is allowed.
Bags & Belongings
Facilities for storing schoolbags within the Keppel Centre for Art Education are limited. Leave all school bags in the school and only bring along pencils, erasers and notebooks. All bags, water bottles, food and umbrellas will need to be kept in the lockers in the Keppel Centre for Art Education upon arrival. Teacher-in-charge will need to sign for the keys from the Keppel Centre for Art Education Receptionist. A charge of $30 will be imposed for loss of key.
First Aid
Schools should ensure that teachers are equipped with a first aid kit that contains dressing, antiseptic wipes, plasters and bandages.
Museum Etiquette
Only non-flash photography is allowed in all sessions.
Students should be reminded not to touch any artworks on display, unless otherwise stated.
Students should not be allowed to roam the Gallery spaces on their own without the supervision of their teachers.
Students are only allowed to bring dry writing materials (i.e. 2B pencils) into the Gallery spaces.
Strictly no food and drinks allowed in the Gallery spaces and Keppel Centre for Art Education.
Responsibility
Teachers should consider themselves responsible at all times for the behaviour of students during their visit to National Gallery and should respond promptly or firmly to any instances of unacceptable behaviour.
Confidentiality
This document shall not be reproduced or transmitted, whether in whole in part, in any form or by any means, electronic or mechanical, including photocopying, recording, or by any information storage and retrieval system without prior express written permission of the National Gallery Singapore.

PERSONAL DATA AND CONFIDENTIALITY FORM
By allowing my students to participate in the School Group Gallery Tour and/or Visit to Keppel Centre for Art Education conducted by the National Gallery Singapore, I hereby consent to allow the Gallery to:
-Collect my students’ personal data, including opinions, photographs, audio and video recordings for research and promotional purposes related to the National Gallery Singapore and the duration of this programme.
For purpose of compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012, I have also obtained parental consent from the parent/s and/or guardian/s of the students attending the programme for the disclosure of their child’s/ward’s personal data to the National Gallery Singapore.
I further understand that all information and content obtained from this tour is exclusive to the National Gallery Singapore, and I agree to keep all such information confidential.
