Course Summary

InfoClique is a web-based system designed to provide a secure central access point for patient information. This service is provided free in support of our patient care partners.

The InfoClique course is designed to familiarize insurance payors to the features of the InfoClique application.

Course Prerequisite

It is recommended that all participants have basic Windows skills and a working knowledge of the Internet.

What is InfoClique Insurance E-Access?


InfoClique Insurance Payor View – InfoClique is a web-based application that provides different views of real-time Kaleida patient information. Available patient data includes: patient name, address, phone number, social security number, date of birth, sex, admission date, hospital location, insurance information, attending physician, textural admitting reason. This information is displayed according to the patient having the payor’s insurance plan.

How do I access InfoClique?

Once you have an assigned User Name and Password, you will be able to access InfoClique.

There are two methods for gaining access to InfoClique:

Method One – Accessing from any Internet-connected computer:

1.Double-click the Internet Explorer icon on your desktop.

2.Type in the address bar and press Enter. Please note that the “s” after http is required.

  1. Enter your assigned User Name and Password, then click the Continue button.
  1. After reading the security notice, click the Accept button.
  1. If this is your first time signing in, you will be asked to change your password. Please see page 4 for further information regarding changing passwords.
  1. Choose the appropriate InfoClique link from your list of applications.

Method Two – Accessing from within the Kaleida Network:

1.Double-click the Internet Explorer icon on your desktop.

2.If KaleidaScope is not displayed, type KaleidaScope in the address bar and press Enter.

3.Click the Applications link at the top of the KaleidaScope window.

  1. Enter your assigned User Name and Password, then click the Login button.
  1. After reading the security notice, click the Accept button.
  1. If this is your first time signing in, you will be asked to change your password. Please see page 4 for further information regarding changing passwords.
  1. Choose the appropriate InfoClique link from your list of applications.

Changing Your Password

Click Change Password in the Account Maintenance Section

  1. Type your User ID in the Old Password field.

Type a new password in the New Password field. Passwords are case sensitive, must be 7 -128 characters in length and contain at 3 of the following: one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, one special character (!@#&$, etc.)

  1. Type your new password in the New Password field to verify your typing.
  1. Click Change Password after completing the three fields.
  1. Click Continue.

INSURANCE E-Access


There are several ways that a user can access patient information. The queries include searches done by facility (BGH, CHOB, DEAC, etc).

You can pull up patient lists based on the following criteria:

  1. Inpatient Roster – patients in a bed right now. You can pick a facility or the default is all
  2. List by admission/registration date – pick a day, patient type and facility (default is all)
  3. List by admission/registration date for Emergency patients – pick a day and facility (default is all)
  4. List by discharge date – pick a day and facility (default is all)
  5. List Insurance Changes by date – pick a day and facility (default is all). This list will show patients whose insurance was changed to yours after being admitted
  6. VNA Homecare list by date – shows the Visiting Nurses Association information on patients
  7. Name Search – searches for patient name matches

All queries return patients with only the payor’s insurance plans.

The QUERIESSection

This section allows you to generate a list of patient information. Patients will appear on your list if the have one of your insurance plans for this encounter.

  1. Select the type of query data and query you wish to view and click Search. A list of qualified encounters is displayed.

E-MAIL PaYOR Section

This link gives Kaleida the opportunity to notify the payor of patient’s with their insurance plans if it is determined after admission that the patient does indeed have the payor’s insurance. The patient information is defaulted in and after a reason is given the user clicks Send Info to Payor. An e-mail is sent to the identified individuals at the insurance payor.

Demo Section

The Demographic section includes the most recent paient information available on the patient including name, address, date of birth. The display includes visit specific information, insurance and insurance guarantor as well as emergency contact. Physician data as well as allergy information is displayed.

Flow Section

The Flow section is the locations where the patient has been for this encounter. It lists the admission, transfer upgrade and discharge locations and duration at each.

Orders

The Orders section shows all clinical orders on the patient for the encounter. Laboratory orders may have a link to results when the orders are completed. You can link to results if available for that completed order. Other types of orders shown (but not limited to) are dietary, rehabilitation, patient care and respiratory.

RESULTS SECTION

The Results section is a flowsheet view of all results for the encounter. There are quick links available to get you to specific sections as well as specific dates. The view defaults to the results in the last 6 days and there is the ability to change the dateranges or for easy access, click the show results for encounter button. information displayed includes labs, radiology reports, dictation, scanned images and immunization information.

Meds Section

The Medication Section shows the medications dispensed toa patient for the Kaleida encounter. The active medications are in white, while the discontinued are in gray. Note all medications are discontinued upon discharge. the details link will show other information including ingrediants for ivs.

ED REPORTS SECTION

This section shows the scanned ed documents for older cases. Kaleida ed documents can now be found in the results section display. For older cases if the ed scanned image is present a link will be displayed.

INSURANCE SUMMARY E-MAIL

Kaleida has the ability to send a summary of the patient queries to an e-mail box for each specific insurance company.
