SANS European ICS Security Summit, Amsterdam, Sunday 21 and Monday 22 September

The 2-day European Industrial Control Systems Security Summit will be chaired by Markus Braendle of ABB and brings together program managers,

control systems engineers, IT security professionals and critical infrastructure protection specialists from asset owners and operators along with government and research leaders. SANS European ICS Security Summit provides the opportunity to learn and discuss the newest and most challenging cyber security risks to control systems and the most effective defenses. The Security Summit is an action conference designed so that every attendee leaves with new tools and techniques they can put to work immediately when they return to their office.

ICS410: ICS/SCADA Security Essentials led by Justin Searle

SANS has joined forces with industry leaders to equip security professionals and control system engineers with the cybersecurity skills they need to defend national critical infrastructure.ICS410: ICS/SCADA Security Essentialsprovides a foundational set of standardized skills and knowledge for industrial cybersecurity professionals. The course is designed to ensure that the workforce involved in supporting and defending industrial control systems is trained to keep the operational environment safe, secure, and resilient against current and emerging cyber threats.

HOSTED: Assessing and Exploiting Control Systems led by Don Weber

This course teaches hands-on penetration testing techniques used to test embedded electronic field devices, network protocols, RF communications, and controlling servers of ICS and Smart Grid systems like PLCs, RTUs, smart meters, Home Area Networks (HAN), smart appliances, SCADA, substation automation, and synchrophasors.
