School:SDOHS is anAdvancEd accredited high school, emphasizing academic achievement in a safe and supportive environment. The distinctive features of SDOHS include: a strong honors/advanced placement program in all grade levels and in all pertinent courses, a special education program that utilizes an inclusion model and commitment to personalization by reaching out to students and making multiple efforts to help students feel connected to the school. In addition, the school offers, a state of the art athletic facilities, an established career and technical program. We as a campus have made a pledge to give our students the most up to date training and use of technology, and have a commitment to create partnerships with parents and community members. Our mission is to empower students to learn, lead, and contribute.

Graduation Requirements for 2015: Students must complete a total of 22 units of credits: Language Arts 4, Math 4, Science 3, Health/Physical Ed. 1, World History 1, American/Arizona History 1, Economics.5, Government .5, Fine Arts/Vocational Ed. 1, and Elective classes 9. Students 9-11 are required to register for six credit units. Seniors, who have sufficient credits to graduate, may enroll in as few courses or classes as needed to graduate.
