  1. Sandoval County: Community Fund Information

On October 27th United Way of Central New Mexico traveled to Jemez Springs where we met with agencies in Sandoval County for a Community Fund Information session. Sara Keller and Ari Herring from UWCNM were joined by 9 agencies in Sandoval County who are supporting a variety of health and human services programs at their respective agencies. The information session was designed to educate not-for-profit organizations serving our rural neighbors about the Community Fund and the funding options UWCNM has available. As UWCNM expands our work in our rural counties, we’re hoping to engage more agencies the community fund and encourage them to apply for funding. David Whiteley, executive director for the Rio Grande Food project for hosting this session at Jemez Springs Community Presbyterian Church. UWCNM has held similar information sessions in both Torrance and Valencia counties.
