From the ministers
It is our privilege to share in the life and witness of Sandfields Methodist Church as it celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2016. This church has a proud record of serving the Sandfields community. It is a place where people of all ages can gather to worship God Sunday by Sunday; families can come to give thanks for the birth of a child; couples can pledge their commitment to one another in Christian marriage; and relatives and friends can gather to remember loved ones who have died. It is a place where, throughout the week, adults, young people and children can meet to learn, to enjoy one another’s company and to play.
However, Sandfields Methodist Church is more than a place. It is a welcoming community of people who seek to worship God, to love one another as Jesus commanded and to express God’s love in service to our neighbourhood. So we hope that you are able to join us during our year of celebration at one or more of our special events. We will be delighted to see you.
