GENERAL INFORMATION & ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
1. An applicant for Pilot of the Year must have been a member of the SFV 99s prior to May 1, 2015 (2 years).
2. An applicant for Rookie Pilot of the Year must have been a member or Future Woman Pilot (FWP) of the SFV 99s prior to May 1, 2016 (1 year).
3. An applicant must have attended at least 10 meetings/functions to be eligible for either award.
4. It is the responsibility of each applicant to substantiate all items used for point credit, e.g.,
a. Flight time documented in logbook.
b. Copies of logbook entries for May 1 thru April 30.
c. Attendance at meetings and functions (to be confirmed if necessary).
d. Publicity listed by date and place and CLIPPINGS ATTACHED.
e. Ratings received.
f. Attachments, as necessary, of listed activities, memberships, events, course certificates, etc.
5. Fraction/partial points count.
6. Please also list any “unclassified activities” which you think should be considered by the Award committee. The judges’ decision will be final.
7. Winner will be ineligible to compete for 3 years following the award and will serve on Pilot of the Year Committee during that time.
