Dear Parent/Guardian
Help your child succeed in school this year—sign up for free tutoring! We have the privilege to offer your son/daughter the opportunity to receive free tutoringaccording to the schedule below. Participation is simple! Complete the attached form expressing an interest and you will receive a confirmation letter before the tutoring begins.

Our Excellence in Extended Day will take place here at Northridge Middle School on Monday thru Thursday. EED will begin at 3:30 pm and conclude at 5:15 pm. All students need to be picked up by 5:15pm.
*Transportation will be provided. Three late pickups, without notice, will result in suspension from EED.
During ED and tutorial courses include the following:
- Math (Standard 6, 7, and 8)
- Science (Grade 8 only),
- Language Arts (Grades 6, 7, and 8)
Math will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays
ELA will take place on Tuesdays
8th Grade Sciencewill take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays
It is suggested that your child participates in the following:

All tutors for the Extended Day program are Northridge Middle School staff members and know your son/daughter on a level unlike an outside organization. Each tutor will utilize various types of instruction including small group, one-on-one, and hands on activities.We will assess your son/daughter during the first week of tutoring and monitor his/her progress as well as provide you with information regarding his/her progress.
If more students request tutoring than can be served through available space, priority will be given to students who apply first and are dedicated to participating in our Extended Day Program. If you have any questions regarding ED please feel free to contact:
