We encourage all [ENTER SCHOOL NAME]teachers and faculty members to Speak Up about digital learning this year! Join the conversation about the use of technology for learning through Speak Up, a national research project. Not only will your views be taken into consideration by our school, they will also be included in the national and state discussions on digital learning policies, programs, and funding.

To “Speak Up” simply follow these steps to take the survey. It takes just 20 minutes to add your voice!

Step 1:Select the survey you would like to take:

  • Teacher
  • Librarian
  • Tech Leader
  • School or district employee (but not a teacher or administrator)

Step 2: Confirm your school name and survey type, if correct click confirm to begin survey

Step 3: You will now begin the survey. Please read the introduction page and click on the next button to begin the survey.

  1. Please use the buttons labeled “next” and “back” to get to the next page. Do not use the back button on the browser.
  2. Please read questions thoroughly. Some of the questions allow you to select multiple answers so be sure to read each question before responding.
  3. If you are unsure of a question just skip and move to the next question.

Direct Survey Links

District primary contacts have access to direct start links via the admin portal under the option “Obtain direct links”. These survey links allow your participants to bypass school look up and survey selection and instead start right at the beginning of their appropriate survey. You will need the email address and admin password registered to your district’s account to login.

Once logged you will have the option to select from your district’s school list and from a list of Speak Up survey audiences to build your survey groups. A survey group is a set of schools that are taking the same set of surveys. For example, choose all of your elementary schools and the appropriate grade level surveys. You may also choose Teacher, Administrator and Parent surveys if you wish to provide them direct links.

To receive one generated direct links report for all your schools with all audience use the select all options.

Please note, direct links work in addition to the regular survey login page. Even if you use direct links, no one is prevented from going to the Speak Up site and taking a survey by selecting their school and the survey to take.
