Domain & Webhosting

Recently both Stephanie and the TakeAIM fellows have contacted me about masking their e-mail address to a @acutemedicine.org.uk address. The difficulty arises from how the @acutemedicine.org.uk addresses have been setup on the domain, which is as email forwards. Email forwards limit the possibility to mask the senders email. The solution would require either setting up webmail accounts on the domain, or utilising an email service such as Google Apps for Work. Both solutions would require me to have administrative control over the domain, which is still registered and controlled by Broxden. I can transfer the domain to my GoDaddy account for free. There may be a small additional cost to add the webmail accounts to the domain, however, I should be able to utilise free packages I have on my GoDaddy account. Alternatively, Google Apps for Work would cost about £6.60 per month. At present, Broxden are also providing the webhosting package for the site, last renewed in April 2015. Once the domain has been transferred I can look at transferring that too. To prevent any downtime for the website, I will need the administrative control of any transfers.
