COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

Job Title: Commercial Account Manager – South East Region

Reporting to: Operations Manager/Commercial Team Manager

Hours: Monday - Friday 8.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m.

Responsibilities

·  Work as part of a team on a defined geographical area to maximise opportunities from Consultant led design projects, design & build projects, opportunities within existing estate facilities.

·  To support the team / company in monitoring and updating the relevant projects and accounts within the CRM.

·  To visit Mechanical Contractors and clients as necessary, this could be office or site based visits.

·  To achieve set amount of calls to maximise exposure into the marketplace, as advised per individual area.

·  To build strong relationship to ensure you maximise this exposure and are remembered by those you visit as a “Must Go To” individual if they need advice on water treatment equipment.

·  Possess strong technical prowess within the water treatment industry, or have the ability and willingness to learn quickly. An understanding of technical schematics will be required to maximise efficiency in the role. (Will be taught)

·  To ensure the correct contacts are identified and visited on a regular basis.

·  To ensure CRM is updated on a regular basis for projects and accounts that you have an involvement in / responsibility for.

·  To monitor appointed / prospected projects. Once the client is ready and in a position to place an order, put in place a sound commercial offer to secure the order as part of a regional team.

·  To understand the full sales process and the ability to identify potential issues and resolve them beforehand.

·  To prepare and continually monitor the monthly prospect report utilising the CRM system, highlighting projects that could be ordered and shipped within the next three months for projects that you have responsibility for.

·  To ensure that Hydrotec are aware of all projects that D&B contractors are currently working on; key to this is contact with Estimators & Contracts Managers.

·  To monitor activity within the contractors, identifying any opportunities that are at risk to competitors. Be part of the solution to securing these opportunities.

·  To attend and identify any training needs and request assistance from the Go To Team.

·  Demonstrate daily the company’s core values and support, be part of, the companies mission statement.

·  Aim to and achieve yearly financial targets and daily standard objectives.

·  Other ad-hoc related duties as required.
