As Civil Engineer of RADC responsibled for feasibility studies, detailed Survey, Design, Estimate, Construction, Supervision and financial evaluation of rural electrification projects i.e., hydro power and solar power projects and other physical infrastructure projects such as Building, road, trail bridge, small irrigation, mule trail integrated with income generating end-uses programs.

Task involved quality assurances of studies and designs and logistic/technical support for Micro-Hydropower and Solar power projects as well as human resources development of RADC staffs and microhydro power operators and managers.

Timure MHP project(15 kW ) Rasuwa District : Involvedas technical team leader from RADC, with ITDG representative and German volunteer Alfred Kusel fink (GTZ) to study the possibility of high voltage transmission line and environment effect from transformer oil on nature and quality control of construction work. At present, the 3 km, 11 kV high voltage transmission line is supplying electrical energy to the load centers.

Malatikot MHP project( 20KW ):Undertook site visit and supervised the district level technical team on layout of the scheme and preparation of Detailed Project Report. Also incorporated bio- engineering measures to control seepage and landslide along the power canal.

As consultant, undertook Detailed Survey of Pasgaon and Sindhi gaon rural electrification(SHP) King Mahendra trust project( 100 kW ), Lamjung through MEC consultancy, Kathmandu, Nepal

Dharapani MHP project (30 kW ) , Manang : A complete report of survey, design and cost estimate was completed.

Hadsinja MHP project (15 kW ), Jumla : As team leader, advised the group on addressing the difficulties arised in rehabilitation of the civil and electro-mechanical component of MHP and also instructions were given to operate the scheme in a proper way.

Study/Promotion of Survey of MHP and other physical infra structure: for GoN, MLD, RADC, survey guide lines of mini/micro hydro-power, trail bridge , small irrigation and rural water supply were developed for the improvement of quality of survey and instructions were given to 22 districts overseers on the basis of the guideline. At present, technical staffs of RADC are following these guidelines.

Mugu gaon MHP project (15 kW ), Mugu: This project is installed in the less developed Karnali zone. Main task for involvement in this project was Monitoring and Evaluation of the project. On the basis of that project, completion repot was submitted to RADC.

Olangchung-gola MHP project (15 kW ), Taplejung: Undertook site visit and supervised the district level technical team on layout of the scheme and preparation of detailed Project Report including scheme installation under direct supervision. This project was launched by late king Birendra on the request of villagers.

Feasibility Studies and Financial Analysis of Gunsi MHP(30 kW ) in Ramechhap: Undertook feasibility studies, design, and financial analysis of Gunsi VDC in Ramechhap, Client- Nepal Hydro Power Association, Kathmandu, Nepal.

MHP Operator Manual: As team member prepared the manual along with the team leader Dr. C. B. Joshi, for Center for Rural Technology, Tripureshwar, Kathmandu.1996
Electrification from Improved Ghatt : As team member, carried out desk study and feasibility study of electricity from improved ghatta to generate 3 kW power for distribution to consumers of Nepane Gaon, Melamchi, sindhupalchok. Client: Center for Rural Technology, Tripureshwar, Kathmandu.

Appraisal of MHP Scheme : Undertook site visit and supervised the district level technical team on rehabilitation of Chhusangn MHP in Mustang, Bagarchhap MHP in Manang, Tipling MHP in Dhading, Timure MHP and Bridim peltric set in Rasuwa, Gadaray in Bajgang. These projects focused on water supply, village irrigation and electrification including end use programs.

Feasibility Studies and Financial Analysis of Solar Power: Under took feasibility studies and financial analysis of Chhoser VDC in Upper mustang, Haku and Gatlang VDC in Rashuwa, Rayal VDC in Bajhang, Kalika, Dho and Chharka VDC in Dolpa, Kol solar in Rukum.

Micro Hydro and Bridge Project Training: Co-ordinated/lectured Micro Hydro surveyor training for Nepal Micro Hydropower Development Association, Kathmandu, (1998) Nepal and also coordinated and lectured a one month Micro Hydro and Trail bridge surveyor and layout training for Remote Area Development Committee of GoN.(2003/2004)

Korolah-Jomsom Internal Road project, Mustang: Supervised road construction from Ghami to Chhonup VDC (linked with China) for the better achievement of gradient, drainage, slope stability and curve setting and advised the site engineer for the improvement of constructed road on the request of GoN, MLD, District Development Committee, Jomsom, Mustang.2004

House Wiring Training, Sirha: co-ordinated/lectured House Wiring Training for Sahid Yagya Bahadur Smriti Training Center, Mirchaiya, Sirha, (1997) / Employment Promotion Center, Kathmandu, Nepal.

Surkhet-Jumla Road Project, Dailekh: As team leader, surveyed 12 km motorable hill road from Dailekh to Bhirkhet-Ghumnekhali. Client: Civil Engineering Consultancy for District Development committee, Dailekh of HMG/N.

Building Electrification works of Ministry of Local Development, Shree Mahal, Lalitpur: As team Member, prepared new lay out diagram with financial analysis for the great complex of Ministry of Local Development of GoN. Under direct supervision, the wiring works was completed.

Detailed Design of Trail Bridge: Undertook detailed engineering design of Saltada Baithan, Jajarkot for RADC of GoN, Tinje and Lawanbagar - Dolpa Client N-TECH Consultancy, Lalitpur for District Development Committee, Dolpa of GoN, Dhawangdhansi - Dolpa, Mukot – Dolpa, Ratamate _ Rukum, Bhedibagar – Humala Client- N-TECH consultancy, Lalitpur for DOLIDAR, Suspension Bridge Division, Kathmandu ofGoN.

MHP End -Uses Program: Undertook feasibility study to choose the end Uses program in different places of different districts such as Bagarchhap, Manang - Bread factory in Timure-Rashuwa- Electric Charkha, in Aaginchok, Dhading- Husker, Grinder and Oil Expeller for RADC of GoN.
