Safe and Supportive Learning Environment

-Monthly drills will also be partial drills and the monthly fire drills will continue.

-Keep doors locked throughout day for safety purposes and to facilitate in lock down procedures. Adhere to this during testing.

-Dress code and Student Code of Conduct input for changes was requested.

-Committee agreed that students should.

-Maintain door windows open and view into the room visible.

-Please notify Ms. Shreve of any safety concerns or suggestions.

-Dress code policy was covered and discussed. Torn jeans will continue to not be allowed. Sweatshirts need to be zipper front and must be school colors (no longer will students be allowed to wear designer brands etc.) and only Hambric pullovers will be allowed.

-New policies will reflect in the student compact and we need all teacher support in enforcing

-Please send any students to counselors should they have dirty or torn uniforms.

-Students are still not allowed to have hair colors that are not natural nor body piercings, if the y do please send them to the office.

College and Career Readiness

-Awards ceremonies were discussed and dates were confirmed.

-For awards, next year the student’s behavior grades will be need to be taken into consideration when selecting student awards. Student Behavior grades must not be U’s or N’s.

-This information will be in the student parent compact.

Accountability for All

-Climate survey was shared.

-SIT members looked and discussed trends and any items they found to be interesting.

-The climate survey is posted on line for all to access under the campus website.

-Leadership is creating campus goals based on the campus climate survey.

Other

-End of the year dates and events were covered to include RTI’s and Award dates.

-Email was sent out with the dates.

-D&A Conference on staff development and is a very great conference to attend. Helps teachers teach teachers how to embed technology into all classroom learning. Session are ½ sessions in the summer.

-Tech conference will count towards your GT hours

-July 25th we will be invited to see George Curos

-Emials will go out to teachers with dates and times for all summer conferences
