1)  What is a SAE?

Supervised Agricultural Experience – A project that relates to agriculture and is supervised by an adult. This project can include anything related to plants, animals, woodworking, yard work, nature, etc.

2)  Requirements for the SAE:

a.  SAE Approval Form – SAE ideas must be approved by Ms. Wooten, signed by a parent, and turned back in to Ms. Wooten by ______.

b.  SAE Packet– This is provided by Ms. Wooten once the SAE Approval Form is returned. It shows that at least 3 hours of work was completed on the SAE and has at least 2 pictures OF THE STUDENT WORKING on the SAE.

3)  Time Frame: Students have over 7 weeks to complete the SAE project.

4)  Due Date: Must be completed and turned in by ______.

5)  Grading: The SAE is worth 15% of your grade (the largest grade in Agriscience Class).

6)  I understand that if I do not complete the SAE by the due date I must complete the writing assignment for half credit.
