Sacramento International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival

The Sacramento International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival is seeking film and video works of positive or

critical portrayals of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities - the people and their lives. The first day of the festival is always on the second Thursday of October. The Festival is a 501(c3) registered nonprofit organization.

DEADLINES AND ENTRY FEES

Submission deadline is July 15. Works-in-progress will be considered if a finished exhibition print/tape can be delivered by August 5. There is no entry fee for submissions. Due to the high number of submissions, SIGLFF does not return preview tapes or DVDs. In the event the deadline cannot be accommodated, the film

may be held for consideration of use at a later date.

PREVIEW MATERIALS

DVDs or online previews are accepted for preview screening. Online previews must be accessible for 3-5 reviewers and available through Oct 1 for media reviewers. Do not send master tapes or film prints for preview screening. Although reasonable care will be taken to protect submissions from loss or damage, neither the Sacramento International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival nor its representatives assume responsibility for any submissions submitted for consideration. Submissions will not be considered unless accompanied by a completed entry form. A separate entry form must be completed for each submission. Submissions of works in languages other than English must be subtitled or accompanied by an English language transcript. Please label tapes and tape cases clearly with the title of the work, running time, director’s name and a contact phone number. Please include high quality production images, either b/w or color stills or digital images on CD. Also include cast and crew list, reviews, press kit and any other publicity materials you may have.
