Terms of participation in the conference

Young scientists (not older than 33 years) and invited leading scientists may take part in the conference. Oral presentations are appreciated. The organization committee reserves to itself the right to select abstracts and edit them. To take part in the conference one should present abstract before 01.08.2004 and the questionnaire of a participant before 15.07.2004. Abstracts should be printed and signed by all the authors (1 copy). Abstracts of the participants without any scientific degree should have their scientific adviser’s visa. The participants should also present an electronic variant of their abstracts.

The organization committee will inform the participants of acceptance or rejection of the abstracts by e-mail before 30.08.2004. All the abstracts will be presented on web site before the conference.

REASONS OF THE REDUCTION OF BROWN BEAR NUMBER IN RUSSIA

The annotation of 3-4 sentences in English (if the abstract represented in Russian and vice versa).

Key words (not more than 5 words and word combinations).

Then the text of abstract including references if needed follows not more than for 2 (two) pages of the size A4 from break line with the interval 1,5. Format - Microsoft Word for Windows. Type - Times New Roman Cyr, size - 12 points. Margins - 3 cm from each side.

All the authors should sign the printed variant. If there is no signature, one should name the reason of this. The authors present the electronic variant either on a floppy disk or by e-mail as attachment file.

The file name is the English transliteration of the first author's surname (example:

kisleyko.doc or kisleyko.rtf).

Abstracts are accepted in Ukrainian, Russian and English.

Working languages: Ukrainian, English and Russian.

Registration fee: for young scientists - 20 Euro (for Russia, Byelorussia, Poland, Finland, and the Ukraine), for participants from the countries of Europe and Asia - 100 Euro.

For the rest of the participants - 40 Euro (for Russia, Byelorussia, Poland, Finland, and Ukraine), for participants from the countries of Europe and Asia - 200 Euro.

The registration fee covers only organization expenses and should be paid after receiving the second announcement.

Correspondence participants pay 50% of the registration fee. The registration fee offsets also the cost of sending the abstract book, which will be sent to the address given in the registration form.
