ALL ‘BENNIES’ 2013 RUGBY PLAYERS:
Welcome to a prospective ‘GREAT 2013 RUGBY SEASON’
Already our boys are hard at training. Gym sessions, Sunday sessions, Wednesday summer sport fitness training.
It sounds ludicrous BUT is a mere 2 weeks to the FIRST GAME ON 23 February for OPEN players and
4,5 weeks till Wed 13 March for ALL AGE GROUPS.
TEAM WORK comprises of:
COACHES: getting the best out of THE ST BENEDICTS RED BLUE AND WHITE
PLAYERS: giving the BEST they can and then push even more!
PARENTS: support ‘graciously and proudly’ from the side of the field in a SUPPORTER SHIRT
TRAINING SESSIONS:
· players to arrive ON TIME for training sessions
· players to WEAR CORRECT KIT – as per coaches / captains

FUNDRAISING EVENTS:
We have a couple of items planned BUT this is a TEAM effort and we are open to suggestions, especially for quick easy ways of making money. Put your thinking cap on and bring your ideas to the meeting on 20 FEBRUARY 2013 – MR NEL WILL SEND OUT AN OFFICIAL NOTICE.

SUPPORT FROM PARENT BODY:
There is always the need for SUPPORT FROM THE PARENT BODY
· Sponsorship – with whatever and whenever we can help (more details later in letter)
· We sell “Boeries” at every HOME GAME (as indicated on calendar)
o Each age group will get a turn to be on duty with this task.
· “OPENS TEAMBUILDING”
o This happens EVERY FRIDAY EVENING before a game
o Parents of boys playing THAT SATURDAY will be asked to host the team building
o Byrone will draw up a list and give to boys well in advance. If that specific night is NOT suitable, please let us know and we can ‘swop’ around.

The school has had various SPONSORS the past few years. We currently are negotiating with our sponsor/s from 2012 to ascertain if they will be doing so again for the 2013 season.
