ANIMAL SNAPS

For our annual Photographic Competition

Entries should be no bigger than 7" by 5", taken by an amateur photographer.

Please put the class number, pet’s name (if appropriate), your name, address and tel. number on the back of each photograph.

Entry fee: 90p per photograph, per class.

Cheques payable to RSPCA, Halifax & Huddersfield District Branch

Winning photographs will be displayed at our Christmas Fair, to be held at the Maurice Jagger Centre, Winding Road, Halifax on Saturday 9th November 2013.

Class 1 Distant Shores. Any animal or bird snapped abroad.

Class 2 It’s a Family Affair. Any animal family.

Class 3 I Love My Pet Owner with any pet(s).

Class 4 Funny Foto. Amusing snap with your witty comment.

Class 5 Funny Foto. Amusing snap without a caption.

Class 6 Catch Me If You Can. Any animal in action.

Class 7 In View. A scenic shot with any animal(s)

Class 8 Feline Friends. Any cat.

Class 9 Just a Dog. Any dog.

Class 10 Let’s Play. Any animal at play.

Class 11 Mug Shot. Just the face of any animal.

Class 12 The Ahh! Factor. Any cute animal snap (which makes you say ahh!).

Class 13 Sleeping Beauty. Any animal sleeping.

Class 14 Watch the Birdie. Any birds or poultry.

Class 15 Grub Up! Any animal feeding.

Class 16 Safe and Sound. Any animal re-homed from a rescue centre.

Class 17 Fresh Fields. Any 4 legged farm animal, horse or donkey.

Class 18 Miscellaneous. Nice animal photos which don’t fit into any of the above.

Rosettes will be awarded for 1st to 3rd plus highly commended in each class. Winners of each class will be judged to find the overall winner and will be awarded a championship rosette and special prize.

Complete the Entry Form below and send with the appropriate fee and a strong SAE that is large enough for the return of your photos, plus any rosettes you may have won. Please keep in mind the postal sizing regulations and ensure that you affix sufficient postage.
