How to apply—bring copies of your 6 best newsletters. (You may be asked to submit these electronically prior to the start of the conference.) Following categories will be recognized:

Best Club Website Home Page:

How to apply – Prior to the conference you will be asked to submit your website address. Members of the committee will visit the website and the winner will be based upon content on the homepage and the major tabs.

Best Club Facebook Site:

How to apply – Prior to the conference you will be asked to submit the Facebook page showing the website address. The committee members will visit the Facebook page and the winner will be based upon content and posting.

Best Membership Development (Recruitment/Promotion):

How to apply – Submit a copy of your membership plan. What did you do? Did it work? Did you have an event and, if so, describe what your club did and how it impacted membership.

Best Public Relations:

How to apply – Submit a display of your press clippings, print-outs of e-news coverage, videos of cable TV coverage, etc. The maximum size of display 48w” x 36”h poster board.

Club History:

How to apply – Open criteria. Could be scrapbooks, posters, photo albums, videos, etc. The maximum size of display 48”w x 36”h poster board.

5 Avenues of Service Awards—Club Service, Community Service, Vocational Service, International Service, and Youth Service

How to apply – Bring a tabletop display promoting/demonstrating your club’s activity for an Avenue of Service. Five awards will be presented, one for each Avenue of Service based upon informa-tion on the tabletop display. One display per avenue of service per club; maximum size 48”w x 36”hposter board. Judging criteria: 20% display, 20% sustainability, 30% service to humanity, 30% need.

Best Conference Attendance – Overall:

No application process. Award will be given based upon registration statistics.

Best Conference Attendance—Percentage of Total Members:

No application process. Award will be given based upon registration statistics.

Best Membership Gain – The “Governor’s Cup”:

No application process. Award will be given based on best percentage membership gain from July 1, 2014 to April 30, 2015.
