Pitching for Month of May for Rookie

Coach pitch will be used for the month of May. Tees may be used if necessary or requested. In no circumstances should tees be brought out to make a player feel unsuccessful at batting.

Remember tees are a very useful tool for teaching kids proper batting stance, hitting, aim and are still used in training by major league teams.

Parents or coach catching.

Rule Changes for June

Kids will start pitching and catching properly. I have pitching books if you need them. Kids will get 7-10 pitches each then coach pitch.

Strikes, outs, and fouls will be started. Kids need to learn proper baseball rules. There will be no walks.

Players cannot pitch and catch in the same day.

Remember to HAVE FUN!!! Player development is important!
