  • Heather: Unique program?
  • Love to craft, a lot of people that do; way to incorporate everyone in order to bond
  • Elizabeth: looking into marketing coordinator as well. Which is better for you?
  • Co programmer; love being face of program and creating programs

  • Like safe spring break bingo (put skittles in drink), one of the first programs got involved in
  • Bret: co pro position requires a lot of creativity. What past programs/events have you been major part in and what do you want to bring into RHA?
  • Been in LIT last year (CBC, Starin), get involved as much as possible; be cool to do program in middle of semester (local band, memory jars) to get people together
  • Peter: how would you go about getting help and asking for help?
  • Send emails out, good idea to reach out to LITS (if one LIT could be assigned to one program to help with, not everyone needs to be there) but it would be a lot of help
  • Sarah: how are you with teamwork?
  • Feed off of other people, so I’m more to myself in big group but small team I express myself a lot better
  • Elizabeth: scared to talk in front of large groups of people. How would you go about combatting that
  • Get more comfortable as time goes on, it’s starting that’s rough. Being with people I know (having a co pro with me), they’ll be there to support and help if needed

  • Joe: being in position, what would you bring to E-board?
  • Bring pieces together for advertisement and bring different personalities together (be one instead of different parts)
  • Lysianne: innovated ideas for promoting?
  • One flier per door for clover (ask LITs to advertise, get everyone involved), if dance: put footprints as flyers to get people’s attention
  • Heather: run Facebook, twitter, website. Experience?
  • Experience with Facebook and twitter; know how to post things and make it look interesting (cover photo), make it more interactive: suggestion box, comments every week/Wednesday; comments and concerns
  • Elizabeth: most excited/nervous for?
  • Be able to create a sign that everyone on campus gets to read; combining everything co pros give to make something great (nervous about)
  • Carlson: RHA does a lot that people should know about, so is there one super idea that you have for position to express everything RHA does?
  • Could put in mailboxes (info about RHA), informational flier at beginning of the year
  • Caryn: specific strength/weakness?
  • Take people’s ideas/opinions and put into one (strength); tech savvy but not to the total point, not totally knowing how to know computer programs (weakness); willing to learn though

  • Peter: strengths/weaknesses?
  • Very organized, keep everything in timely manner, lists, creative (strength); quiet; public speaking, but like to keep to myself (try to work on weakness)
  • Elizabeth: how’d you learn about RHA and what makes this position interesting to you?
  • In LIT in Arey, RHA is great opportunity for work experience and would like to go into advertising after graduation (good way to put self out there)
  • Sarah F: better candidate than others? One key thing?
  • Really into advertising and marketing (wanted it since middle school); great experience
  • Bret: have you created signage for campus at all for other orgs?
  • Help make posters, but would like to be part of a big org
  • Dorothy: work with social media, which sites?
  • Mostly Facebook, but tech savvy and willing to work with any social media
  • Heather: work with website?
  • No, but fast learner
  • Joe: smaller posters and things, any new ideas?
  • Social media is big, but paper advertisements and posters (anything to get word out)
  • Mitchell: being involved in groups, bring anything to RHA? Learn anything?
  • Learned how marketing is done; different ways to get the word out there (TVs, table tents); know how campus works
  • Heather: works closely with co pros, how well would you be with taking suggestions/criticism?
  • Like positive reinforcement, love new ideas and incorporating them (use everyone’s idea)

  • Nikki Nygaard presents:
  • Questions:
  • Dorothy: something keep and something change?
  • Liked the way facebook was run, but could use more attention (great to continue), got website up and running (continue doing and keep as important roll); change = getting LITs involved in advertising, so keep following that and get involved in LITs with advertising
  • Joe: having co pro this year, what skills would you bring to marketing?
  • Knowledge of programs; knows how long it takes for ads to get out with how much time you actually have; a lot of lessons learned and advice given could be applied to new E-board
  • Bret: been on E-board before, how would you prevent yourself from being bossy/controlling
  • Knowledge that you need to step back (not pres. or co pro), but take on new position as if new to E-board; keep lessons, but take it as this is what you know now and not more than others
  • Danny: schedule?
  • Taking 16 credits (a lot of random 1 credit business); working job (continuation), but it’s not a conflict since doing it now; made schedule so RHA fits (no conflicts); RHA is one of the number one thing
  • Elizabeth: better than competitors?
  • Knowledge of position, but not necessarily advantage/disadvantage (could lead to overpowering); creativity and being on campus for a while, having different facets gives a boost within candidacy (been a part of many things)
  • Tim: position requires technology. What are some programs you’re good at using?
  • Microsoft publisher is the best (using that for years), know word and excel, know odds and ends of Photoshop (had in school so know a little), know a couple others
  • Sarah F: what would you take out of this?
  • To continue growing as a leader; passionate about Reslife and want to continue to grow as a leader and be involved; more ways to be creative and expressive; fun experience to get out and meet people (not end up being a hermit)
  • Dorothy: what is one thing you would change from being on E-board now to next year (about self)?
