Reports

  • President – Kristy –uniform session today, some sales, not a lot, will do another session, maybe at training. Attended KDNA AGM with Sharlene, to discuss later.
  • Treasurer – Kylie –see separate report. Kristy to follow up old sponsors who haven’t come back. Kylieto send old sponsors details to Kristy.Discussed uniforms, do we need to order?
  • Registrar – Sharlene –168 registered currently with 5 on a wait list until teams are sorted and first training to see if movements are necessary.
  • Property – Michelle –has all bags and gear, done inventory.

Business Arising from Previous Meeting

  • Fundraising – in past not had to do much, now we do. Discussed Krispy Cremes, fundraising levy for future, chocolates. Vanessa to email to members – take a box of chocs or give $20 per player. Diane to book in sausage sizzle at KDNA
  • Grading/Team Allocations – put policy on website, basically a paper allocation, Registrar to talk to Lisa, Kristy then send out to coaches, Dianewill then organise coaches meeting maybe after a couple of training sessions where coaches can discuss any issues with kids in teams. We need some resources/manuals. KDNA also to org new coaches sessions. Sharon has a manual, will forward to Diane to email around. Also there are online resources Diane will let coaches know about. Also can utilise some of our older girls to help NSG coaches, Diane to organise.
  • Property – balls/bags– around $50 large bag. Michelle to order 20 large bags at best price, Kristy to seek sponsor for bags. Each team needs 4 training balls and a match ball, have 2 old training balls, Michelle to order 2 trainnig balls and 1 game ball per team. Balls chosen. Also to purchase first aid kits, pumps and whistles (2 basic ones per team), icepacks.Bags to be numbered, include a list of contents.
  • Court development/Grant funding –Megan following up with COA, will also go to Clubs 4 Life meeting

New Business

  • Kylie to approach RCC about courts for training
  • New signatories for bank account – take off Amy and Julia, to add Sharlene and Vanessa,

  • Pre-season calendar – Valley Reporter on each month, sausage sizzle date, choc fundraising, first training date in week of 24-28 March (property to be sorted by then, uniforms, fee payments – day set at 10am Sat 22 March )
  • Feedback from KDNA meeting 24 Feb –Sharlene to distribute their constitution, KDNA are keen to help clubs do this, Diane to nominate for grading committee, foundations courses for coaches
  • Sponsorship – including new possibilities – Kristy to followup with Kab Seating and IGA
  • Coaches books – email from Amy $6 each, 10% discount over 30 – Kristy and Kylie to investigate other options first, including local.
  • HBF Run for a Reason – Kristyto register a team,
