Role title: Trades Staff
Role Purpose: Typically this postholder would spend their time undertaking tasks within their specific craft area. Usually working in clients houses the postholder has a significant responsibility for the quality and speed of the work they undertake as well as respecting that they are working in someone’s home, maintaining good relationships with tenants, residents or customers. They may be also asked to complete simple paperwork returns as required.

Construction
  • Undertake specific work within their primary craft to meet project specifications
  • Ensure the quality demanded by the project specification
  • Ensure that all scheduled work is completed to project deadlines
  • Operate all small plant and equipment safely and not exceeding the manufacturers intention for the equipment
  • Ensure that all work is conducted as efficiently as possible

  • Wearing of the appropriate level of PPE at all times
  • Ensure compliance with COSHH and method statements
  • Minimise wastage of materials and ensure that all waste is disposed of in line with company policy
