  • Any ATV may participate.
  • Must be an ATV frame.
  • Any pneumatic tire may be run. Treads may be shaved, but cannot add any type of material to the treads.
  • No tracks are allowed to run in this class.
  • Paddle tires designed and marketed for ATVs will be allowed to run in this class.
  • No steel tires or tread are allowed to run in this class. Steel or aluminum wheels are allowed.
  • Participants may run crush lock wheels with tires designed to be pneumatic.
  • Axle paddles, wheel paddles and dual wheels will not be allowed in this class.
  • Any engine modification can be made, but the engine must be an ATV engine.
  • Motorcycle, snowmobile or other engine conversion is not allowed.
  • The ATV cannot exceed 6’6” in width and 8’6” in length measured tip of tire to tip of tire.
  • Nitrous Oxide is permitted in the open class.
  • Full Face DOT Helmets, boots and gloves must be worn during any Competition as well as long sleeve shirts and long pants. No shoes, boots only.
  • RCATV & JAD reserves the right to make rule changes or decisions as it sees fit to promote fairness and safety in the competition. All decisions are final.
  • All entrants must sign a waiver in advance releasing RCATV, JAD and sponsors from liability. A parent or guardian who will execute the waiver must accompany entrants less than 18 years of age. No one under the age of 16 may participate.
  • No late registrations will be accepted on-line. Registration is available on-lineat or Master card and Visa card accepted. One hundred spots are available on-line. A twenty dollar non-refundable deposit will be required to register. Registration is transferable. Dead line is Jan. 20, 2010. Race entry fee is two hundred dollars.
  • Guaranteed 100% payback to 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place. Prizes may be available to more places, depending on sponsors. If all 120 spots are filled the total payout will be $24,000 -1st place-45%*$10,800, 2nd place-35%*$8400 and 3rd place-20%*$4800-4th place-One set of Terminator Tires by Superatv-*with 120 entries). Awards and payouts on site two hours after race ends.
  • Twenty spots will be held at the gate on a first come first served basis. Full payment is required.
  • $50 buy back will be available to each racer on the first loss only. This does not go back into the payout pot. Buy back entries will race each other until one winner is determined. The one winner will be injected in the final heat. In the event a racer loses his first race in the final heat, he will be allowed a buy back & final heat will be rerun until all racers in the final heat have had the option of using their buy back option.
  • Females and males may enter if their machine qualifies.
  • Each ATV entry is limited to one rider per machine. Multiple riders are not allowed to share the same ATV.
  • Competition will be held in a oval shaped pit with a combination of muddy spots(12”-20”) deep, deep water(30”), table tops and hard ground. Two laps per heat.
  • In the event that any participant is observed operating his or her machine in an unsafe or unsportsmanlike manner they may be disqualified and excluded from competition or banned from future events
  • Starting line position is determined by computer randomization. The first rider generated for a heat will start the race from the left-hand lane. The second in the next position to the right. This process will be repeated for as many riders as are in the given heat.
  • If a rider commits a false start, (leaving the gate early) the rider will receive a warning and the race will be restarted. If a rider commits a second false start, this rider will be disqualified and the race will be restarted.
  • Boundaries of the mud bog will be clearly marked with flags, stakes, and/or banners. Participants who partially leave the course with any portion of their ATV will be disqualified.
  • All ATV’s arriving to the starting line must be ready to race without any work being done to the ATV. Work may not be performed on the ATV staged at the starting line.
  • No person other than incidental contact by other racers may touch the participating ATV/RUV during the race. If any other party touches the participating ATV during the course of the race, the rider will be immediately disqualified.
  • Participants may push their ATV if they become stuck.
  • Every racer assumes full responsibility and liability for racing. Racing is a dangerous sport, even with all the safety precautions that are taken.
  • Participants should not consume any alcohol beverages, drugs or any contraband on the day of the competitions. Any participant found under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be immediately disqualified from the competition.
