District 11-C1 Convention: This is a one-day convention to be held at the Rockford American Legion on Saturday, April 1st. If you are planning on attending the convention, please forward your completed application to Lion Warren. Application along with the convention agenda can be found in The Pulse.

Easter Honey Hams:Order slips are available to sell hams! Cost is $30.00 per ham weighing 8-9 lbs. All hams must be paid for at the time of purchase.Orders are due no later than April 1st. Pick up at the Community Cabin on April 14 from 3-6pm and Saturday, April 15 from 9a-12pm. Contact Lion Tom VonEschen.

Battle of the Chili-O’s: The chili cook-off is open to any club that wants to bring a competing chili pot. Bowls, crackers, spoons and napkins will be provided. Doors open at 6p with chili eating at 6:30 at the Rockford American Legion on Northland Drive. Cost is $8.00 per person with a cash bar. Chair Lion Kim Neveau will have a signup sheet for those who will be competing with their “winning chili.” Desert donationsare welcomed. Great night for perspective lions!

Lions Draw:The pot has grown to $421.00.

Just Lookin Ahead: Saturday, March 18th, 9am-3pm; the Rockford Lions have reserved a booth at RHS forthe annual community Expo. We will be in need of volunteers that day so please get this posted on your “busy” calendars.
