Do you know what happens August 22, 2017? Birmingham will have municipal elections. As we are learning about the rights and responsibilities of being a good citizen, we will discuss the importance of the voting process. At the creation of the United States Constitution, most of you would not have had the right to vote. That means someone bled, cried, and died for your right to be a part of the democratic process. It would be a disservice to you if we did not have a project about this very important event. =)
