  2. Click the “Create Riser Configuration” button at the bottom of the Schedule page.
  3. STEP 1 Page: Enter a New Project Name, Number of Floors, and Number of Risers. Check whether or not the project contains any Slave units. Click Next Step.
  4. STEP 2 Page:
  • Enter the names of the floor and riser identifiers if they are different from the default 1,2,3, etc. format.
  • Select applicable tag numbers from the drop-down boxes for Master and Slave units. The Master column allows VHC, VHM, or VHA unit tags to be selected. If you see blanks in the drop-down, you must return to the schedule and complete the tag field each line item.
  • Check the CNX box if the units are connected to one another – this will ensure proper rules are enforced for reduce up or reduce down riser diameter.
  • Use the Copy function to expedite the process when identical units (same tag number) are being used on multiple risers.
  • Set as many parameter defaults as possible.
  • Clicking “Save Configuration” at any stage will save the information for future editing. To return to this page, click “View Riser Configuration Editor” from the Schedule page.
  • Click “Create New Riser Project”. This takes you to the Step 3, and adds the newly named Riser Project to the master list of Web-Select Fan Coil Projects on the Project Information page.
  • Important Note: All subsequent changes affect only the newly created Riser Project. To edit this project at a later time, start from the newly named project and click “View Riser Configuration Editor”. Then continue in Step 3.
  1. STEP 3 Page: Select Unit Options by Floor and Riser
  • Enter Info: Click “edit” on each line or floor of each riser to edit pertinent information such as riser diameter, insulation, material, length, cap up/down, reduce up/down, room #, stat mounting, etc. The risers will contain the defaults entered in Step 2.
  • Price: When all floors of a riser are configured, click the “Price Current Riser” button, which will update the options selected to the applicable units on the schedule. Risers with asterisks have not been priced.
  • View Riser: Change risers by clicking the desired riser number at the top of the table. The page will then update. Confirm riser number prior to making further changes.
  • Time Saver: For the case of identical risers and units, configure all pricing related items on a riser. Then use the “Copy” function to copy all info, including pricing, to like risers. Then go to each riser and edit any non-pricing related items.
  • Add/Delete Riser: Risers and/or units on a riser can be added or deleted from a riser. These changes will be automatically reflected on the newly created Riser Schedule.
  • Export: Once all risers are priced, click the “Export to Excel” button to create an Excel Spreadsheet.
  • Save and e-mail the spreadsheet file to ENVIRO-TEC to order the risers.
