Risborough Rewards

You might have heard that a Risborough Rewards loyalty card was recently launched. Backed by the local council, it is designed to reward local shoppers for supporting local businesses in and around Princes Risborough, to raise funds for local community projects and be a platform for local businesses to highlight all that our local area has to offer.

How It Works

When you buy a Risborough Rewards card for £20 you will get vouchers to a value of £80 that can be used immediately in Risborough shops. You will also have access to an interactive website displaying the participating local businesses, their permanent discounts and any special offers/promotions they may be running. In addition to these local discounts you have access to ‘Big Brand’ discounts where you can buy vouchers and gift cards for major high street stores, supermarkets and even cars and holidays at discounted prices. The Wycombe Swan has recently joined the scheme and new retailers are coming online all the time. Your Risborough Rewards card also gives you access to discounts offered by sister schemes in other towns like High Wycombe with Aylesbury and Marlow expected to come on line shortly. If 20% off Fish and Chips is not reason enough to buy, £10 from every card goes into a local community fund and £5 will go to Princes Risborough so you are doing everyone a favour!

What do I do next?

To join the scheme and obtain the significant benefits that Risborough Rewards has to offer you, your School, community projects and local business, please complete the registration form which was given to your child with this letter. You can also download a copy from our website if you need to. Make sure that when you fill in the form you write “Princes Risborough School” as the seller’s name. The form should be returned to the School Office with your cash or cheque for £20 made out to ‘My Mates Rates’. The envelope should be clearly labelled with “My Mates Rates”.

Please note that the founder of My Mates Rates, Stuart Dodds, is an ex-pupil of this school. He has also joined us on the Board of Princes Risborough School Enterprises Limited and we are very much working in partnership to generate additional funding for the school. Risborough Rewards can genuinely save you many hundreds over the course of the year. Look again at the list of shops offering between 5 and15% discount. This is on top of the £80 worth of vouchers for local shops. A real win-win.
