HDU CONVERSION OF VW CRAFTER VAN

  1. Supply and fit 2 number solid side windows. Fit one to centre panel of van on offside and one to nearside side slide door panel. Windows to be fitted with double shadow light tint. Windows to be bonded glass if possible. Supply and fit one number window to offside rear door – solid bonded with double shadow light tint as above.
  2. Supply and fit roller blinds to all windows. Colour of blinds to be black.
  3. Supply and fit ply sub floor to be covered in heavy duty hard wearing black rhino lining. All sides are to have radius corners and all edges to be fully sealed. Note sub floor height to be brought up to provide necessary clearance for stretchers over wheel arches.
  4. The full interior saloon of vehicle is to be fitted in white fiberglass panels to sides, roofs and doors.
  5. Supply and fit a welded steel bulkhead partition to front of vehicle. Existing partition to be removed. Partition to have top section protruding into cab above drivers head to create storage area. Partition to be finished in ply and white fiberglass.
  6. Supply and fit a half sliding fixed communication window to bulkhead 250 x 350mm. Position to best suit with seat and stretcher.
  7. Side step well may need to be partially filled to accommodate seats/ lockers etc.
  8. Wheelarches to be cut down to a height of 6”and shortened by 3” approx each end.
  9. Supply and fit 2 number full length recessed NMI wheelchair tracks to floor as per drawing.
  10. Supply a set of combined wheelchair passenger restraints.
  11. Supply and fit 1 number attendant seat between front loaded stretchers. Seat to be rearward facing and fitted with headrest, armrests on both sides and lap/diagonal seat belt. Colour ambla clova forest green. Seats to be high back type.
  12. Supply and fit 3 number forward facing fixedsingle high back seats on both sides of vehicle. 2 number seats fitted to offside with one over wheelarch and one between wheelarch and rear. One number seat over wheelarch on nearside. Seats to be covered in ambla clova forest green. Seats to be fitted with armrests to aisle side and fitted with lap and diagonal seatbelts.
  13. All seats / bump pads over doors and other covers fitted in saloon to be trimmed in ambla clova forest green.
  14. Fit 2 number locking devices for 2 number MX PRO Stryker stretchers. Stretchers and locking systems to be supplied by customer. Stretchers to be both positioned at front of vehicle.
  15. Supply and fit a PLS super slim ambulance panel van lift over rear nearside door. Lift controls fitted into rear offside area.
  16. Supply and fit a manual double step to rear offside – Stedall type.
  17. Supply and fit a manual stem step to side sliding door.
  18. Supply and fit a full width locker against front bulkhead to house scoop and spineboard. Wilker supply of ferno scoop and spineboard.
  19. Wilker to supply ferno compact carry chair. To be fitted in cab between seats.
  20. Supply and fit a shelving locker to rear nearside – tobe full height from floor to underside of cantrail.
  21. Supply and fit 1 double F size bracket to the rear nearside.
  22. Supply and fit 2 x cantrails to nearside and offside – as long as possible see drawing. Lift up doors to be held in open position with gas struts.
  23. Supply and fit a locker above driver and passengers to bulkhead over cab.
  24. Supply and fit a practi box unit to front offside. Boxes are to be 3 sets of 5.
  25. Supply and fit 2 number D typeyellow grab handles to both rear and side door entry.
  26. Supply and fit 1 number grab rail to saloon roof. Make sure rail is fitted where it will not be an obstruction.
  27. Supply and fit 2 number full length covex lights to saloon roof – see drawing.
  28. Supply and fit 3 number standard labcroft eyeball spotlights to roof – positions to be agreed.
  29. Supply and fit 2 x aerator vents to roof – position to be agreed.
  30. Supply and fit 2 number full length iv drip rails – one over each stretcher.
  31. Supply and fit 4 number single oxygen outlets – one at each stretcher and two over rear offside seats – confirm before fitting.
  32. Supply and fit changeover valve system.
  33. Supply and fit a double D type cylinder bracket – position to be agreed.
  34. Supply and fit 2 number FFF fire extinguishers. One to be fitted to cab and one in saloon – position to be confirmed.
  35. Supply and fit a white wipe clean board to o/s saloon wall.
  36. Supply and fit a removable Laerdal Suction Unit and wall mounted charging bracket. Location to be decided during build.
  37. Supply and fit a lifepak 12 bracket to offside wall. Bracket to be fixed type non swivel.
  38. Supply and fit a clock to saloon wall.
  39. Supply and fit 1 x towel holder to saloon location to be decided.
  40. Supply and fit 1 x glove box holder to saloon - location to be decided.
  41. Supply and fit an auto eject battery charging system with 2 additional batteries and a split charge system. Also supply and fit a Durite 500W pure sine wave inverter system. Wired direct to the inverter will be 2 number 220V sockets fitted to O/S saloon wall.
  42. Supply and fit a carnation electrical system – standard Ambulance type.
  43. Supply and fit a Woodway yelp wail standard siren system with speaker fitted to bumper of vehicle.
  44. Supply and fit a set of blue Woodway 500 series LED lights to grille switched from dash.
  45. Supply and fit a set of blue Woodway 500 series LED intersector lights to the front and rear sides of the vehicle.
  46. Supply and fit 2 number light bars to the external roof – one to front and one to rear. Light bars to be same spec as previous Movano conversion – Woodway Freedom type.
  47. Supply and fit a headlight flasher unit – incorporated into Carnation system as standard.
  48. Supply and fit 2 number alley lights to front sides external – one each side, GH scene light Federal Signal.
  49. Supply and fit a reversing buzzer night silent.
  50. Supply and fit a set of Haztec LED combined stop/tail/indicator lights to top rear of vehicle. Note lights to be fitted in a fiberglass bracket.
  51. Supply and fit a camera and recording system to the saloon of the vehicle with LCD screen on dash.
  52. Supply and fit 2 number two way radio aerials (Katerin type) to external roof of vehicle with coax located at the passenger side of the dash area. Also supply a 12 V in line fuse power supply at same location.
  53. Supply and fit an Eberspacher D4 diesel fired heater to the saloon. Position to be confirmed – in an area that does not obstruct persons using the vehicle. Heater to be switched from the dash. Thermostat control to be fitted to attendants panel in saloon.
  54. Supply and fit 2 number 12 VDC sockets and 1 number belling power outlets to O/S saloon wall.
  55. Supply and fit 2 number interior mini scene light to rear and side door areas to be angled over steps/lift. Lights to be switched from dash.
  56. Supply and fit a set of speakers to saloon roof wired to existing radio.
  57. The rear of vehicle is to be fitted with 3M diamond grade orange and yellow striping fitted in “A” shape as standard for A & E vehicles.
  58. Supply and fit above rear doors an orange reflective AMBULANCE sign.
  59. Supply and fit to the bottom area of the rear doors “KEEP CLEAR” in orange reflective.
  60. Supply and fit full battenburgh to offside and nearside exterior of vehicle. Battenburgh to be 3M diamond grade green and yellow.
  61. Supply and fit the words “EMERGENCY AMBULANCE” to sides of vehicle exterior high level.
  62. Supply and fit logo to each side of vehicle – check location before fitting.
  63. Supply and fit a mirrored “AMBULANCE” sign to the bonnet of vehicle in green reflective. Also fit a logo above AMBULANCE sign.
