Formulated a pilot program for 0-3 year olds who were identified as being mentally and/or physically handicapped. Completed home visits and did preliminary developmental testing. Co-led a support group for parents and organized a series of educational speakers. Worked closely with interagency officials in reporting needs of the area and to assist them in developing a permanent program to serve these youngsters and their families.
