Conditions: Clarifications and responses to questions posed by vendors are reflected below.
- RFP shall be amended to the following (Page 12):
3. Inactive File Room: The centrally located file room should be approximately 864 sq. ft., with a mechanical assist manual movement filing system unit with space for a total of at least 38,800 linear filing inches (lfi) (which will include at least 36,000 lfi of open filing and at least 2,800 lfi of locked filing.) The bidder shall purchase, install, maintain, and include the costs into the lease rate. The unit shall be a Spacesaver High-Density Mobile Filing System or DCF approved equal. Once installed, flooring within and surrounding unit shall have matching VCT tile. The inactive file room will require a minimum of a 9’6” ceiling.
Informational website: The room must have at least 6” of concrete to support the unit. Shelves shall be of steel construction with a power coat finish, color to be determined by Lessee. All shelving shall be new and unused. The unit shall have at least three (3) pull out reference shelvesper aisle and a minimum of three (3) vertical dividers installed per shelf. Top shelves shall have canopy tops. This unit shall be installed prior to occupancy of the facility.
- RFP shall be amended to the following (Page 12):
- Break Areas: Furnish and maintain as part of the lease one (1) break room and two (2) coffee kitchen(s). Durable, easily cleaned finishes and flooring must be installed in both areas. The kitchen will be used for both as a coffee area and for lunchtime activities.
- Break RoomThe break room should be located in the building so that it is convenient for staff usage. One (1) 220 volt outlet will be required for each stove. Also, one (1) fourplex outlet must be positioned above the counter top every four (4) linear feet of counter top.
The break room area is to be equipped as follows:
1. One garbage disposal unit with a two-bowl sink large enough to wash out a 20 cup coffee pot. The sink is to also have a built in hand sprayer.
2. Approximately 12 linear feet (lf) of counter top, 12 (lf) wall cabinets and 12 (lf) base cabinets for use for storage.
3. Exhaust fan for the kitchen area.
4. Provide space, water source, and electrical hookups for 2 frost free refrigerators with ice makers, 4 built in microwave ovens and 1 electric oven and cook stove.
- Coffee Kitchens: These are to be provided with the following:
1. One single bowl sink large enough to rinse out a 12 cup coffee pot with garbage disposal.
2. Approximately 6 linear feet (lf) of counter top, 6 lf wall cabinets and 6 lf base cabinets for use for storage.
3. Provide space, water source, and electrical hookups for 1 frost free refrigerator with ice maker, 1 built in microwave oven.
One (1) coffee kitchen is to be located near the large conference room in the secure area.
A signed copy of this Addendum must be submitted with your bid. If your bid response has been returned, submit this Addendum by the closing date indicated above.
