Earn and Get a Gift Promotion (Gift is defined as a trip, or Bonus Play, or Bonus Bet, or Greektown Reward points, or Use of a Kiosk, or Event, or Comp, or Marketing Item, or Hotel, or Gift Shop Dollars, or points, or promotional tickets, or tier credits, or Free Ace, or Complimentary Bet, or F&B Voucher, or Table Game Multiplier, or Point Multiplier, or Value Chips, or Holiday/Special Gift, and etc – all based on certain participation or gaming criteria set up by Greektown)

Methods of Customers obtaining Entry
  • Guests may receive a gift based on predetermined earning criteria within a specific time frame.
  • Guests may receive an offer via mail, or use of our Kiosk, email, external communication or social media, texting, an event, as a promotion, as part of a hotel package, for using our garages, or for simply walking into the casino, or as designated and approved by Greektown.
  • A Guest must present a valid government photo ID, or state issued photo ID, or Greektown Rewards Card to claim their gift
  • The Bally Elite Bonus Suite may be used in this promotion. The Elite Bonus Suite will allow Greektown to add Greektown Reward points to our guest’s account. Greektown Reward points are defined as an award based on guest play ($1 dollar in coin-in = earns one point on video slots or reels, or $3 dollars in coin-in = earns one point on video poker). Greektown Reward points may be used for promotional purposes (i.e., tickets for drawings, credits to be played at an EGD Machine, or points to be converted to TITO tickets that may be redeemed at a Kiosk or Cashier’s Cage = three hundred (300) point equals $1)

Entry Rules – Exhibit A

  • Must be a Greektown Rewards member to participate. If the guest does not have an existing account, they must open a new free Greektown Rewards account.
  • Earn and Get a Gift isnon-transferable
  • Must present valid photo-government issued ID or GREEKTOWN REWARDS card to claim gift unless claimed directly at an EGD or Kiosk.
  • If a Kiosk is used, the guest would swipe their Greektown Rewards Card
  • If regarding a Bonus Play, the guest will be required to present a valid photo government issued ID, or GREEKTOWN REWARDS card to redeem the gift at our Marketing Area or Player Development Area, so the GREEKTOWN Rep can code it to the guest’s account, or the guest may proceed to an EGD Machine to redeem their prize (due to a guest using a Kiosk or winning a bonus prize while playing at an EGD)
  • If regarding a Bonus Bet, the guest will be required to proceed to a Pit or Marketing Area or Player Development to redeem the Bonus Bet, which the guest will be required to produce a valid photo government issued ID, or GREEKTOWN REWARDS card / or the guest can proceed to a Pit (due to a guest using a Kiosk)
  • There will be no cash exchange for an Earn and Get a Gift
  • Earn and Get a Gift may be set up with expiration dates programmed by GREEKTOWN (guest will only be allowed to redeem after expiration date with Management approval)
  • Gifts may be given out
  • Gifts will not be refunded (may be exchanged based on GREEKTOWN Management discretion)
  • Gifts are subject to change based on available quantities
  • Gift Shop Dollars will be presented on a Comp, or gift certificate. A guest can only use the gift shop dollars at the Gift Store located in the Casino (gift dollars must be used in one transaction). Gift Shop Dollars have no cash value. Gift Shop Dollars will not be reprinted based on theft and etc.
  • If a Gift Dollars (comp) appears to be altered, or copied, or fraudulent, GREEKTOWN will not permit the item to be used in Gift Shop.
  • Hotel Room issuances are based on availabilities.
  • Gifts do not cover taxes or gratuities for Comps or Hotel Gifts, and/or transportation costs/applicable taxes/insurance coverage for travel gifts (guest who are presented with travel gifts must sign a GREEKTOWN Waiver to participate).
  • All Federal/State/City taxes will be sent to a guest who is given a Gift if applicable
  • Guests are totally responsible for all Federal/State/City income taxes or applicable laws regarding Gifts
  • Failure to abide by any stated rule may (based on GREEKTOWN Management discretion) result in immediate disqualification from the promotion.
  • Must be 21 years or older to participate
  • Earn and Get a Gift may be offered to invited/advertised to guests
  • Acceptance of a prize constitutes the participant’s approval to all of Greektown’spublicity and advertising rights.
  • Greektown reserves the right to change, cancel or modify the terms of this promotion at any time. Prior to cancellation or modification of this promotion, the VP of Compliance and MGCB will be notified, in writing. GREEKTOWN will obtain approval in writing, within 24 hours, of the plan of action from MGCB before a modification is permitted
  • The decision of the Greektown is final. If a patron disagrees with the decision of Greektown, the patron will be provided with a Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) Patron Dispute Form. MGCB Administrative Rules 432.11501, 432.11502, and 432.11503 will govern all disputes filed by patrons relative to this event.
  • GREEKTOWN may elect to start a redemption period earlier then what is advertised or publicized internally/externally, if there is a customer demand on the day(s) as indicated during the Promotional Period.
  • Greektown is not responsible for the failure of a promotional kiosk, computer, power, system, mechanical or other equipment malfunction which may prohibit guests from properly participating in the promotion. Guests are participating at their own risk, with the potential of not being able to accrue points, promotional tickets, utilize a kiosk, or simply participate in the promotion or be awarded a prize.
  • Greektown is not responsible for any errors or omissions in any advertising for this Promotion.
  • If a Greektown Rewards member experiences an issue or malfunction with any tracking, gaming or promotional equipment or systems used in conjunction with this Promotion, they must immediately notify Greektown personnel.

Forms Used for Payment (Usage outlined in Procedures)

  • A CMP Voucher will be printed for Bonus Bet, Comps, and Gift Shop Dollars. All others will be approved (via an email, or memo) by Greektown
  • Not applicable if Bonus Play or Greektown Reward points awarded while guest is playing at an EGD

Actual Operation of Promotion

  • New, existing and inactive Greektown Rewards Members may be given an offer to receive a gift.
  • The quantities of each respective offer will be determined by internal or external qualifications set by Greektown
  • The offers will be distributed once set up and reviewed by the Database Marketing Division (if required)
  • The Database Marketing Division will create prizes in Elite Bonus Suite (“EBS”) and/or CMP for the Bonus Play, or Bonus Bet, or Greektown Reward points, or Comps (if necessary). All others will be created and approved by an internal communication from Greektown
  • If applicable, the Greektown rep will check the guest’s account to determine if they have qualified for the offer
  • The GREEKTOWN Rep will redeem the corresponding prize in CMP (not applicable if awarded while a guest is playing at an EGD)
  • A guest may be able to receive an Earn and Get a Gift from the use of a Kiosk or while playing at an EGD. Entry rules will apply

Drawing and Payment Procedures

  • A guest may be able to receive an Earn and Get a Gift from the use of a Kiosk or while playing at an EGD. Entry rules will apply
  • The same rules will apply as written under Bonus Play, Bonus Bet, or Greektown Reward points, Gift, or F&B Voucher, or Hotel Offer as indicated in this section.
  • The Accounting Department will pay taxes on all Bonus Play downloads played on an EGD. This goes for all Bonus Play downloads played on an EGD within any other portion of this promotion submission.
  • The Accounting Department will pay taxes on all Bonus Bet vouchers successfully printed and counted by the Soft Count. All Bonus Bet vouchers will be forwarded to Casino Accounting for auditing. Casino Accounting will reconcile all Bonus Bet vouchers received in. The reconciliation process will consist of the Casino Auditor verifying that all Bonus Bet vouchers were counted and the buy/sell sheet total matches what was counted by the Casino Auditor. If there is a discrepancy, Casino Accounting will apply the adjustment to the AGR for tax purposes. As part of the reconciliation process, Casino Accounting will review the CMP Void Report and examine any error vouchers presented in their Accounting Box. If there are any discrepancies discovered, an exception will be sent to the appropriate department. If concluded that the voucher was properly used as a bet, then the exception will state it and Casino Accounting will add the amount to the AGR for tax purposes
  • All other prizes will not be added to the daily AGR for tax purposes

Bonus Play: Entry Rules – Exhibit A

  • Must be a Greektown Rewards member to participate. If the guest does not have an existing account, they must open a new free Greektown Rewards account.
  • If a Kiosk is used, the guest may swipe their Greektown Rewards Card
  • In order to redeem a bonus play offer the guest must visit a GREEKTOWN rep, must present a valid photo-government issued ID, or GREEKTOWN REWARDS card to participate (note if the Bonus Play is an award/selected from a Kiosk, the guest may be directed to redeem their prize at a Marketing Area or Player Development Area or their award/selection will be loaded onto their account for it to be redeemed at an EGD with their PIN).
  • Once the account is set up/added to their account, a guest will be given Bonus Play based on a guest inserting their Greektown Rewards Card and entering their PIN at a participating EGD Machine
  • For a bonus play offer where a guest is not required to visit a GREEKTOWN rep, the guest may insert their Greektown Rewards Card and enter their PIN at a participating EGD Machine
  • Bonus Play is settled at the time the guest plays their credit(s)
  • Bonus Play will expire based on set up in CMP System
  • All Bonus Play will be issued through CMP
  • Bonus Play is non-transferable
  • Bonus Play is available only at participating EGD Machines using a patron’s PIN to download the credits
  • Greektown may set up PIN numbers for guests at their discretion.
  • Bonus play will be downloaded to the credit meter of a participating EGD Machine
  • Must be 21 years or older to participate
  • Bonus Play may be offered to invited/advertised to guests
  • Acceptance of a prize constitutes the participant’s approval to all of Greektown’s publicity and advertising rights.

  • The GREEKTOWN Rep issues or codes the prize to the guest’s account in Casino Market Place (CMP). A prize may be coded in CMP to expire.
  • A guest may be able to receive Bonus Play from the use of a Kiosk. Entry rules will apply

Drawing and Payment Procedures

  • The guest will proceed to slot machines to download their offer
  • Bonus Play will expire based on setup in CMP
