Islam was once an obscure Middle Eastern religion. In recent years it has grown into the second largest religion in the world.
The population of Iran is three times that of Iraq and Iran, is approximately 99% Muslim, of which approximately 89% are Shia and 10% are Sunni.
The of the first questions we must answer is this: Are those who follow the teachings of Muhammad, as found in the Quran, peaceful or violent?
Look at 9/11 and remember the planes deliberately crashing into the world Trade Center and the Pentagon.
Who would do such a thing? Why would they do it? They were all Islamics who practiced the teachings of the Quran.
Islam not only condones violence; it commands it.
The fruit of Islam is 1400 years of violence and bloodshed around the world.
What are Muslims taught to do to people who resist Islam?
The Quran teaches:
Fight and slay the Pagans wherever you find them, and seize them, (harass) them, and lie in wait for them in every (plot) of war. Surah 9:5
The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land: that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter.

In America, cutting off someone's hand and feet because he would not accept your religion is unthinkable – but the Islamic Bible commands it.
One of Iran's leaders said, “The purest joy in Islam is to kill or be killed for Allah.”
Muhammad, the founder of Islam, told his followers: “Who relinquishes his faith, kill him. I have been ordered by Allah to fight with people till they testify there is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is his messenger.”
I. The History of Islam
The word “Islam” means “submission” in Arabic. Therefore, a Muslim is “one who submits to god.”
Of the 1.3 billion Muslims in the world today, approximately four million live in the United States.
The largest concentration of Muslims is not in the Middle East but Asia.
Muhammad was exposed to numerous religions influences in Mecca and , according to his own testimony, he received what he considered to be a divine revelation while meditating in a cave at the age of forty.
The revelations continued throughout his life and were compiled into what is now known as the Duran, regarded by Muslims as the word of god.
There were more than 360 deities in the Arabic pantheon, and Muhammad chose to name one of them, Allah, to be the true god.
The name “Allah” came from an Arabic word that had to do with the worship of the moon god in per-Islamic Arabia.

In Islam Allah is unknowable. He is so exalted that no man can ever personally known Allah.
Muslim believers can never know the love of Allah until Judgment Day when they find out if Allah loves them and will invite them into paradise.
The Duran tells us that the god of Islam works with Satan and demons to lead people astray in order to populate the hell he created. (Surah 6:39, 126; 32:13; 43:36-37).
Muslim's view of land rights in Israel:
The Jews came and attacked this land and stole it, and it will remain that way forever. If we aren't able to liberate this land today from the Jews, this doesn't mean that we give it up. We have to work until the time comes, and then we will bring it back to the Islamic world.
II. The Habits of Islam Five Pillars of Islam:
A. To Recite the “Shahadah”
This is the Muslim creed: “There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is his messenger.” In prayer, Muslims repeat this prayer over and over almost as a chant.
B. To Pray (Salat)
Muslims pray five times each day. At the time of prayer Muslims stop wherever they are at the moment, kneel down toward Mecca and recite in Arabic their memorized prayers.
C. To Fast (Sawm)
The most important fasting time for Muslims is the month of Ramadan (Sept.) during which they refrain from eating food during daylight hours; so they can have a time of meditation and reflection and ends with a joyous time of celebration.
D. To Give Alms (Zakat)
Muslim's are required to give one fortieth of their income to the poor and needy.
E. To Make a Pilgrimage to Mecca
This is a once-in-a-lifetime pilgrimage to mecca, required of all who are physically and financially able. The journey usually takes at least one week and includes stops at many other Islamic holy sites along the way.
III. The Hatred of Islam
Muslim's attacks of violence is known as “jihad”, which means struggle or holy war.
Muslim hatred for Israel began in 1948 when Palestine was returned to Israel as a homeland. Because America is an ally of Israel, Americans have become targets of Jihad as well.
America is called Big Satan and Israel is called Little Satan.
IV. The Hopes of Islam
A. Islam Hopes to Rule the World
They want to cover the world with the teachings of Muhammad and to bring all into submission to Allah.

B. Islam Hopes to Return their Messiah
They believe their Messiah will only come during a time of chaos, so they create chaos to hasten his return.
Don't be deceived: Jehovah is not the same as Allah.
We don't pray to the same God with different names.
Islam instructs its followers to kill their enemies, but Christianity instructs its followers to love their enemies.
Islam says Christ didn't rise from the dead; but the Bible says he did.
Islam denies the deity of Jesus Christ.
Not only do they deny Christ's deity, they also put a curse on all of us who confess Christ as the Son of God.
