EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

Senior Engineer Well Services with Canadian Sub Surface for 5 years

I worked for Canadian Sub Surface just over 5 years in a Supervisor role mainly in fishing and pipe recovery operations. We worked on a lot of high concentration H2S high pressure oil and gas wells in and around Western Canada. We had 15k PCE packages for fishing and intervention related jobs. I worked along side Shell, Esso, Encana, and Conoco Phillips on bug projects planning well completions, interventions, and fishing diagrams for jobs to be completed. I managed a crew of 6 in fishing/ completions operations and preparing Pressure Control Equipment, certifications and designing well schematics. Once we had a load out for the job we would mobilize equipment and we would go to the wellsite. Once there I would Supervise all operations from pressure testing to running the completion or supervising the fishing operations. I have worked for a lot of other companies but the list is very long and we did a high volume of work for these 4 companies. I also have my Journeyman Crane certification in Canada but I am not sure if it is valid in Australia but we used 12 crane ranging in size from 12 to 80 Ton mobile cranes with 190 feet of boom. I also would supervise the running/ pulling and everyday regular use of slickline and wireline tools and tools run with coil tubing, workover rigs, drilling rigs, and snubbing rigs. As a high volume of work I had done 312 onshore jobs in the last 12 months I was in Canada. I would take calls and organize up to 20 jobs a day for the 18 crews we had at Canadian Sub Surface. I enjoyed working for Canadian Sub Surface and learned a lot from the high volume of work in the supervisory role.

Senior Engineer with Weatherford Canada Partnership for 5 years

For Weatherford I did the same role as I have done for Canadian Sub Surface and if you refer to my experience above it would be very similar.

Engineer with Solid Wireline for 2 years, beginning as an operator for a period of 6 months

Slickline Engineer doing regular day to day slickline and wireline operations learning the ropes for heavy duty slickline fishing operations and using 15k PCE. I was an operator for 6 months before I started Engineering. We did a lot of H2S and CO2 jobs with various rigs and cranes for Solid.

H2S Safety Supervisor with Prairie Maintenance for 2 years seasonal

I did safety work for Prairie Maintenance for approx 2 years seasonal and I would work for them when I was not busy at slickline. We did H2S gas plant turnarounds which included climbing inside towers, incinerators, downcomers, flare stacks, and general maintenance areas of a gas plant. We worked with high concentrations of H2S, LEL’s, CO2, N2, and all other chemicals of a H2S plant.
