NCCL Marketing Manager

Responsible to: Head of NCCL

Responsible for:Bookings Coordinator, volunteers

Salary: Circa £25,000 depending on experience

Hours:40 hours per week. 1 year contract

Purpose and Objectives

Promote NCCL to future and current customers, stakeholders and funders. Create and implement NCCL’s marketing strategy and coordinate marketing campaigns for all NCCL sites across the UK. Increase NCCL’s profile regionally and nationally amongst the heritage, education and legal sectors.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and implement NCCL’s marketing strategy
  • Design all marketing materials for NCCL in line with agreed timescale, budget and brand
  • Coordinate distribution of marketing materials according to the marketing strategy
  • Manage the marketing budget in conjunction with the Head of NCCL
  • To increase bookings and revenue forNCCL against departmental targets through proactive marketing to existing databases and by finding new databases to target. To maintain and update all databases including press database and visitor database
  • To maintain and update NCCL’s websites
  • Be responsible for NCCL’s social networking accounts (eg twitter, facebook,
  • Police NCCL’s brand guidelines and be responsible for communicating and implementing the brand guidelines internally
  • Maintain the image library, archiving old images and updating new. Ensure that image release and data protection is adhered to
  • Work closely with the PR and Media Coordinator to develop ideas and share communications across the Egalitarian Trust
  • Maintain NCCL’stestimonial and press book, reading the local editorials daily and any other relevant literature and following up action on any relevant articles
  • Produce regular analysis reports on the performance of marketing campaigns
  • Deliver marketing talks to schools at the Galleries of Justice Museum
  • Represent NCCL at trade and retail events such as conferences, seminars and exhibitions
  • Any other daily duties which are relevant to the role

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential Experience and Qualifications:

  • At least three year’s experience in a creative marketing role
  • Have a strong eye for design as well as being a creative thinker
  • Strong multitasking skills
  • Tenacious, enthusiastic and committed to delivering consistently high quality standard of work
  • Experience in print production and distribution e.g. flyers/leaflets
  • Experience of website and content management and a good understanding of the internet as a marketing tool including social networking
  • Excellent communication skills with a passion for what you do!
  • Excellent IT skills including Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Desirable
  • Graduate qualification in Marketing
  • An understanding or experience of the education sector
  • CIM or CIPR qualified
