Describe your approach in the best light possible. Possible items to consider include, but are not limited to:

  • Emphasize the unique or novel aspects of your work
  • Emphasize how your expertise fits within the major area of interest for our client
  • Describe your technology. What is it? What can it do? …
  • Have you reduced your approach to practice?
  • What are the current or anticipated performance characteristics?
  • Do you have any technical data you can share that is relevant to the stated needs of the RFP? Consider photographs or video clip if appropriate
  • Describe what kind of intellectual property you may have around the proposed technology ( eg. Patent #, patent application, trade secret, IP not yet filed …)
  • Describe any other information you feel may be pertinent to have your approach, solution or technology considered

Proposed Budget

If appropriate, describe a possible required budget, timeline and deliverables/milestones needed to fully develop your technology.Alternatively, describe other possible arrangements.

Consider the client’s funding amount (if listed) and your budget as starting points in the negotiation.
