1.4   SUBMITTALS

A.   Submit under provisions of Section 01 30 00 - Administrative Requirements.

B.   Product Data: Manufacturer's data sheets on each product to be used, including:

1.   Preparation instructions and recommendations.

2.   Storage and handling requirements and recommendations.

3.   Installation methods.

C.   Shop Drawings:

D.   Selection Samples: For each finish product specified, two complete sets of color chips representing manufacturer's full range of available colors and patterns.

1.5   QUALITY ASSURANCE

A.   Manufacturer Qualifications: Minimum 5 year experience manufacturing similar products.

B.   Installer Qualifications: Trained journeymen with a minimum of three years successful experience in the installation of resilient flooring.

When deciding on the extent of the mock-up, consider all the major different types of work on the project.

C.   Mock-Up: Provide a mock-up for evaluation of surface preparation techniques and application workmanship.

1.   Finish areas designated by Architect.

2.   Do not proceed with remaining work until workmanship is approved by Architect.

3.   Refinish mock-up area as required to produce acceptable work.

1.6   PRE-INSTALLATION MEETINGS

A.   Convene minimum two weeks prior to starting work of this section.

1.7   DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING

A.   Deliver and store products in manufacturer's unopened packaging bearing the brand name and manufacturer's identification until ready for installation.

B.   Handle materials to avoid damage.

1.8   PROJECT CONDITIONS

A.   Temperature Requirements: Maintain materials and areas of work at temperatures between 70 degrees F and 90 degrees F for not less than 48 hours before, during and 48 hours after installation. Maintain a minimum temperature of 55 degrees F thereafter.

1.9   SEQUENCING

A.   Ensure that products of this section are supplied to affected trades in time to prevent interruption of construction progress.

1.10   WARRANTY

A.   Madera Tile and Plank Flooring:

1.   Manufacturer's 20 year limited residential warranty.

2.   Manufacturer's 6 year light commercial warranty.

B.   Madera Plus Tile and Plank Flooring:

A.   Product: Pure Click 40 Floating LVT as manufactured by Syntec Industries:

1.   Color: Selected from standard Syntec Pure Click 40 LVT colors.

2.   Technical Properties:

a.   5.0 mm (13/64 inch) overall, 16 mil (0.4 mm) wear layer.

b.   Product shall be manufactured from 100% virgin material containing no post-consumer recycled content. Product shall contain no plasticizers that include Phthalate compounds.
