The RWE Special Interest groups was established in 1973 and has two purposes: (1) to provide a structure within the American Educational Research Association for the promotion of research concerning women and girls (2) to provide a mechanism to facilitate communication among researchers and practitioners who are concerned about women in education at the intersection of class, gender, and culture

General Conference Registration Information

Early Registration: Before August 31, 2017 – $200

Regular Registration: After August 31, 2017 – $230

Students Full Registration: Before August 31, 2017 – $120

Students Full Registration After August 31, 2017 – $145

Hotel Registration:

The group room rate is available for three days before and after the conference. Group room rates are available until September 5, 2017.

Transportation from the Airport:

Take a cab (around $20) or if you have an Uber or Lift App, those are available too.

Public Transportation: TRAX Green Line that will bring you from the airport to right outside the hotel (http://rideuta.com/Rider-Tools/Schedules-and-Maps/704-Green-Line). You will take it from the “Airport TRAX Station” to “Gallivan Plaza TRAX” Station

Conference hours: Friday 7:30am – 5:30pm, Welcome Reception 6:00pm – 8:00; Saturday 7:30am – 5:30pm. No credit card payments are possible for conference registration. Personal checks and university checks should be made to Research on Women and Education.
