Related Grants

Please provide a list of MOES, DST, CSIR current or recent grants (within last 5 years) held by any of the applicants that are related to this proposal. Please list reference number, title, cost and time period.

The following further detail requested on any Indian costs requested from MOES. Please detail this on a separate sheet:

  1. Budget estimates:

1a. Budget for research manpower & justifications for their salaries and wages

Including:

salaries on monthly consolidated outflow

detailed justification for the manpower requirement based on your assessment

1b. Budget for consumable materials with justification for the use of costly consumable, if any.

1c. Budget for travel and justification for travel on projects, if any.

1d. Budget for other costs and justification for the same

Some projects may have special requirements not covered under sections 1 (a) to 1 (c). Costs for such requirements are to be indicated, based on realistic estimates and due justifications.

1e. Budget for permanent equipment and justification

Specifically list all the items of permanent equipment costing Rs. 50000 or above, or requiring import. Other minor items may be clubbed. Include provisions for installation sharge, inland transport, insurance etc. in the estimated cost.

  • Detailed Specifications of the equipment proposed
  • Details of such equipment in the country and the need for additional facility
  • statement on the capabilities of the PI in using these
  • cost estimate (notional quotations)
  • For major equipment of cost >Rs. 50 lacs, please indicate as to how the instrument will be maintained after the project completion. This should be a formal statement by the head host institution on its letter head indicating how much financial and infrastructural support will be available.

Basic infrastructural facilities and equipment that would be extended by the institute to the project should be recorded viz.
